We had a great time on the pedal cycle! We were picked up right from Bird and Betty's and given a quick run down and a sticker each. We did the pedalcycle for my sisters bachelorette this past weekend. We had a fabulous time on the bike with Jesse and Mikey! They were so fun and knew how to get the party going! I would 100% recommend and would do it again! Honestly we had more fun on the bike then at the bars and wish we could've had more bike time for sure!! My only complaint would be more on the bar side. We had a rude bartender at sea shells and were also told we had reservations after the pedalcycle at bird and Betty's but when we tried to sit/use the reservations the hostesses looked at us like they had no idea what was going on. The bartender at bird and Betty's, also Mike, was great, so we were disappointed we didn't have a place for all 10 of us when we got there and we ended up leaving. But overall the bike was a FABULOUS time! 10 out of 10 recommend. I think just some wrinkles on the bar side to iron out. Could've been an off day. read more

Asbury Pedalcycle - I am a fan! This is a very cool and different activity to do in Asbury Park. Especially if you are with a crew who doesn't want to spend the entire day lounging on the beach. The bike is large and can fit around 15 or 16 peeps. If you have a big crew you can rent out the entire bike - perfect for a birthday party or group outing. The tour is 2 hours - the bike makes three thirty minute stops at various bars around town and you spend thirty minutes riding. Drinking is not permitted on the bike but you are able to drink at every stop! You also get a wristband that gives you access to various special at the bar. We stopped at Porta, Langosta and Anchors Bend. Even without drinking on the bike (NJ is lame) being on the bike is the best part. Our group had so much fun pedaling and rocking out to music. Plus, every single person on the streets of Asbury will wave at you and it is hilarious. The owner Jesse is the man. Such a great tour guide and is passionate about his business and making sure that people have a great time. Highly suggest taking a pedalcycle tour around AP - if you like biking and drinking you'll enjoy it! read more

What a fun experience! Early in our vacation week we saw The Pedalcycle going through the neighborhood we were staying and had to join in the fun. We booked our reservation for a Friday night. We had a party of six with a variety of ages, ranging from 21-68. Matt was our driver/guide and was accommodating and energetic. Pedalcycle is brand new in Beach Haven this year... a couple of suggestions/ideas for their bright future: Pedalcycle could have a more visible sign so people can easily contact them. Also, Pedalcycle could call ahead with their participating bars, restaurants telling them how many to expect so no time is lost at these establishments. Business cards to hand out at these establishments would alway be a great idea because we were immediately asked as soon as we walked in. My family and I own a rental house in North Beach Haven and wanted to try something different on our vacation. This was by far the best thing I booked! The Pedalcycle tour takes you to different bars, plays music on the ride and everyone that you pass is dancing right along with you. Jesse was our guide, not only was he funny he also had the best playlist. At all the bars there all specials that you get because you are part of the Pedalcycle group. I thought that was the cherry on top. My group was a little skeptical when I told them we were going to be pedaling around on the hottest day of our vacation. I scheduled this tour for me and 6 of my friends who came to stay with me for the weekend. I am a local and saw the bike around frequently, so we were all really excited. I researched on the website and saw that it would be taking us to Brickwall, Porta and the Asbury. When we went to meet the bike at 7:50, we could see it at convention hall. It didn't arrive until about 8:15 to pick us up, so we lost about 15 minutes. Once we got on, we were having fun until the first stop at Porta, when the two guides handed out bracelets for everyone. They were about 4 bracelets short, so 4 out of the 7 of us didn't get bracelets. I asked what we were supposed to do, because we were told that the bracelets gave us drink deals. His response was "well I hope the bartender believes you but we can't do anything if we don't have more bracelets". We were able to send up one girl with the bracelet to buy us all drinks. We only got about 30 minutes here, enough to wait for one drink, chug it, and head back out. I wish we would have known we could have brought drinks on the bike (the guides response was "If you can sneak 'em out of the bar, go for it"), because I only live a block from the pick up point and we could have brought one. Then we move on to the next stop and its Langosta, which is strange because it was supposed to be Brickwall. Another 30 minute stop, barely. We then move on to our last stop which is Anchors Bend (again, not on the itinerary) where we were told by the bartender that they have no drink specials so we were out of luck. When we returned to the bike, I asked if they knew there were no drink specials there, and he said "oh well". At that point, it wasn't worth the 0.2 mile back to the Asbury, so we parted ways with the bike. The entire ride was less than a mile and we only spent about maybe 10 minutes total on the actual bike. I do not think it was worth the $40 we paid per person, and have shared that with everyone who has asked me about it on social media or otherwise. This has a lot of potential to be something really fun in Asbury, but the execution of it is poor and the customer service was lackluster. read more
