A beautiful sunrise.

This campground goes above and beyond for its seasonal campers and transients alike. They continue to upgrade their facilities and have the best events for family and kids. Staff is very responsive and polite. I went their on a whim trying out new campgrounds with a new camper and haven't left in over 10 years. Where friends become family. I would recommend this campground for family's and couples without kids alike. The beach is 15 minutes away if you desire or just hang out at the pool. And the best part is Jason's BINGO. Come on down. I'd love to show ya around.

Second time staying at Bakers Acres, the first time was almost 20 years ago. Very friendly staff, well stocked store with very reasonable prices. Nice size sites with conveniently located utilities. We did not swim, but the pool looked very nice. When walking through the campground, everyone we encountered was very nice. Only thing that kept the review from being five stars was that there were piles of old stuff in certain areas of the park. If those areas were camouflaged, it would a big improvement.

Not a bad place for the price. Pool, close to the beach and bay. The owners are nice and accommodating. They have activities for the kids and adults.

The "scary people" on the fence, as my kids called them, made us all jump and laugh at ourselves when we first saw them after dark.

We were very impressed with this campground. Check in was easy and everyone we met was very polite. The pool and playgrounds were nice, having things we don't typically see, like a diving board and see saws. Their map was very detailed and it was easy to find everything. It was very quiet.

I have been a customer of Sea pirate Campground for about 15 years. Overall, I like the place…read more Pretty family friendly, especially for the kids. Lots of activities which can be easily found on the app. Kids activities include everything from a big bounce pillow. Sudzy sundaes on the field, inflatable water blowups. And a bucking bronco from time to time. There are two playgrounds, both of them could use a little bit of updating. There is a dog defecation park zone with a fire hydrant & mailbox too. They have a small arcade. Small gift shop. Pool goes up to 9' with a stiff diving board. (No back flips, bummer). Fishing pond. You can crab/kayak/canoe from rear property access to bay. Accommodations include tent sites, various level RV connections, and cabins. I like the cabin with 2 rooms, bathroom and kitchen the best. Not all kids are free anymore, which could be misleading from the road sit. Kids are free for the seasonal site holder registrants only, and infants. I still come back again and again. You'd have a good time too if you came.

The owner and the staff truly care about the campground and the experience of the campers! The campground is clean. The bathrooms are cleaned twice a day- and really looked after! Campsites are groomed before you pull in. There are activities each weekend, beach passes available to LBI (only 15 minutes away), the pool is great, play areas and activities for kids and teens! There also is a camp store, snack bar and laundry room! We will definitely return!

The cost for a site with electric and water is very reasonable, especially as compared to other campgrounds close to the shore. The campground was populated mostly with seasonal campers, and we were surprised to see how empty the campground seemed for a weekend in the middle of July. The campground offered free beach passes for Ship Bottom (with a fully-refundable deposit of $45), which was about 20 minutes away. It was a nice day trip. Our original site had a fair amount of broken glass, but the owner quickly assigned us a new site and had someone out cleaning up the original site that afternoon. Our campsite was moderately sized and well-shaded. We were close to the bathrooms and pool, which were both well maintained and clean. The chemicals used to clean the bathroom were so strong that they burned our eyes for a few hours after it was cleaned, but I would rather that than a dirty bathroom. The store was well stocked and the snack bar was nice for an evening ice cream or treat. The boys really enjoyed soaking each other in the water playground. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I would say the only big drawback for us was that the campground seems to be geared for families with older kids. The Saturday night of our stay, they had a DJ in the main pavilion who played very loud music from 8 -10 pm. Trying to get our guys to bed around 9 was tough. The DJ is apparently a frequent weekend activity. Overall, we had a great weekend, but probably won't be returning until our kids have later bedtimes.

There is a nature center with a museum that's free to walk-through to get a break from the sun if you need as well as a café and some restrooms that are right at the front gate as well as Porta potties that are along the beach route. They are not common though so if you drive by one when you first get there, I would use it, I did see people bring surfboards and go out in the other sections where people were fishing and you have to have a permit to drive onto the beach, which is done by lottery I heard loads of people coming to Swim but there's more than enough space on the beach that everyone spreads out and you get more than enough room in privacy that you don't even feel all the people that are there. Great spot look forward to coming back.

It is not crowded at all and easy to forget that you are not the only person on the beach. Most people in this section of the beach have dogs with them but everyone follows the leash rules and I've never seen anyone not pick-up after their dog. One or two of the parking lots have port-a-potty's and the main two beaches (where you can swim but dogs aren't allowed) have pavilions with restrooms, a cafe, and a beach store.
