It doesn't feel transactional or like "just another school or daycare." It truly feels like a family. You can immediately tell that they care on a personal level about each child as a whole person. They have camera access for parents to check in during the day. It's super cute to see my child play and learn, while also giving me peace of mind. Knowing my child is both emotionally supported and physically safe is something I am so grateful for and feel incredibly confident in our choice.

I scheduled a lesson with Mark Parson, and it was the best lesson that I've ever had. Upon…read morearrival, Mark had me hit about a dozen balls with whatever club I felt the most comfortable with. Mark suggested that I put my left thumb in the 1 o'clock position and open the club face about 1 degree. I then hit another dozen balls, and immediately my ball contact was 50% much better and more consistent. He then noticed that I couldn't do a full turn, so he suggested opening up my left toe about 30 degrees and trying to rotate my right heel to hit an imaginary range bucket with my right ankle on the turn. I hit some more balls, and I could definitely feel a big difference with my follow through. I love the fact that Mark looked at my grip, swing, and form, and didn't tell me what the textbook says. He basically took what I had, and tweaked it by making suggestions and explaining the fundamentals behind it. I still have a lot of practicing to do at the range, which I hate, but I can't wait to see my scores 2-3 strokes better than what I usually hit. 'm looking forward to seeing Mark again in July/August so that he can help me with my short game. I highly recommend this Mark and the MC Golf Academy for all skill levels.

As anyone would respond to a situation like such, I than start getting yelled at being told me friend is extremely disrespectful. While I kept calm tone I was being yelled at this entire time and I decided to say, we should continue this later where kids are not present to where it was brushed off. Finally I decided to leave, it was not worth giving a fight. I'm in no way trying to brush people away from martial arts or dishonor what this academy does. Also, before they started camp; I verbally explained their issues and was told that it wouldn't be a problem because they had a severely autistic child already there & they would be supervised by their counselor. They emailed, texted & complained every day. I shadowed the most autistic child one day, and he was fine, the other child splashed water & was told to stop. Lastly, I gave them a $40 personal check for additional snacks, later to find out they didn't receive them bc they weren't on the list. Never, Ever will I let my kids suffer through that again.
