It doesn't feel transactional or like "just another school or daycare." It truly feels like a family. You can immediately tell that they care on a personal level about each child as a whole person. They have camera access for parents to check in during the day. It's super cute to see my child play and learn, while also giving me peace of mind. Knowing my child is both emotionally supported and physically safe is something I am so grateful for and feel incredibly confident in our choice.

Pine Shores has been my artist home for several years now. They offer more than 60 classes a year…read morein oil, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and acrylic-- my biggest problem has been choosing what to take. They even have weekend and evening classes for my working friends, and kid classes too The prices are really low since they are not out to make a profit. Several times a year they bring in nationally known artists. I have taken a number of classes with big names for half of what you might spend elsewhere. I love their drop-in sessions with no instructors. I go to a Do Your Own Thing drop-in on Weds and love the positive, peer support I get there. They also have an outreach program for residents of local assisted living and nursing homes, that has allowed me to give back to my community through my art. FInally-- when I first moved here, they provided me with an opportunity to show my work, and continue to do so with their monthly exhibitions. As a serious artist, this was a great first step in becoming established in a new place.
