Cobb Salad with environmentally friendly dressing container
    Veronica M.

In summary: Surprisingly good and a great view (even without a game), The Patio is a decent choice when you want a nice drink and straightforward food. In the daytime, I consider it quite kid friendly. I can understand at night (based on the excellent cocktail menu) that it might be less so. Ended up there by chance on a sunny Saturday. Had SeaDog Blueberry (with blueberries in my pint glass, yum!), but they had very tempting cocktails. Menu is simple. My cobb salad was great and included a unique dressing container. No problem with bringing a kid provided we didn't sit at the bar and they have a modest kids menu. When we wanted a substitution (fruit for fries) they provided a most excellent fruit bowl. Husband had the sausage on a bun - it is next to the ballpark - and reported it to be just as it should be, with no fussy marinara. Because of the excellent view and the easy off-street parking, I look forward to returning again on another sunny day.

Great food and view of the fisher cats stadium. The nachos and Cobb salad we had was great. A nice place to enjoy a beer and watch a baseball game.

Chop chop salad and crab cake Benedict =unbelievable

We showed up 45 minutes before the game and I thought we were screwed because the area around the ballpark was packed.

Staff are quick to help with orders or questions, but they're quite busy! They have some small or sharing options as food, but it's mostly cocktail focused. Great selections for drinks, very well made. Some fun and unique options - see menu. Had 2 different cocktails and tried a 3rd, just wonderfully mixed with lively flavors and nice presentation. Also had some of their small notes - pickles and another - both devoured quickly by our table. Great spot, thanks.

The service was okay, the Hostess was quick to find us a table which was awesome since we were a party of six, so that was super appreciated. We sat down and drink orders were pretty quick but they did take awhile, which shows that they really do make everything from scratch. Their drink menu had some really cool, unique drinks on it and I honestly wanted to try them all. If they had a flight, I would have absolutely not been able to say no. We were super impressed with their bourbon selection, and they actually had pretty good prices too, so we were able to try some great options. It was the perfect night cap for our group to indulge in one last drink before bed. Awesome spot to chill and chit chat.

We did NOT eat here other than the popcorn at the end of the night, so I can't touch on that, but the popcorn did come in clutch after a few drinks!! We started with a couple beers. Service was great and super quick. I was disappointed that a lot of their beers had run out - I'm not sure if there's a better way to handle their beer menu but maybe a printed menu isn't the right choice since it seems they run through them pretty quick. Regardless, I found a couple I wanted to try and was able to create a flight with them. I loved that they have so many local beers to try from. We also indulged in their free open mic comedy upstairs, which was hilarious. It seems like they always have something going on to keep people entertained. Great experience, if we lived close, this would probably be a regular spot for us.

A friend highly recommended Crown Tavern, and I can honestly say the food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and the drinks were great as well. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our waitress made us feel neglected and overlooked throughout the evening. For a meal that came to over $220, I expected a much better dining experience. It wasn't just slow service--it felt like we were forgotten at times. I did speak with the restaurant manager, Zach, and I truly appreciate how he handled the situation. He listened, was sincere, apologized, and genuinely cared about our experience. His professionalism left a positive impression, and I'm grateful he took the time to address our concerns. Crown Tavern has an incredible kitchen and serves amazing food, which is why it's disappointing that the service didn't reflect the same standard. I sincerely hope this is addressed because I'd hate for other guests to leave feeling the way we did. If I were rating the food alone, it would easily be 5 stars. Unfortunately, because service is such an important part of the overall experience, I have to give this visit 3 stars. I truly hope our next visit reflects the quality that the food already delive

These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.
