If I could give Everly Studios 10 stars, I would. Every step of the way, our wedding day was done our way. From our first phone call, Jocelyn really listened to us and understood our vision for our wedding day. She helped us plan an itinerary for the day that was authentic and effortless. On our wedding day, Jocelyn was the only person present, and we wouldn't have it any other way. She was our witness, our hype-woman, and captured every moment of the day along the way. She did the vital job of documenting our special day, but she was also a joy to be with. She made us feel completely at ease with her and her camera. The photos speak for themselves. She fully encompassed our vision of moody, candid, authentic, dramatic shots. We are so proud to show off these pictures, and every person we show is blown away by them. Perhaps more important than the incredible aesthetic of the shots, though, is that she captured us. She captured our energies, our story, and chronicled the best day of our lives. Jocelyn, we cannot thank you enough for documenting our wedding day with your art. To anyone considering elopement photographers, you will be glad you chose Everly Studios!

We met with Jocelyn Voo over Zoom before moving forward with working with her for our special day as our photographer and our witness. Jocelyn was absolutely outstanding for more reasons than one. Firstly, we felt that she really "GOT" us, from start to finish. She listened to our vision (dark, moody, candid, casual, gritty) and as wild as some of our ideas were, she totally leaned in and delivered exactly what we were looking for! Secondly, when you're eloping just the two of you, having a third person present is intimidating; what if it's awkward? What if the vibes are weird? But Jocelyn was an absolute joy to spend time with! I'd go so far as to say that her presence made the day even more special. She asked us about our love story, she joked around with us, and seemed genuinely interested in who we were as people. This also impacted the photos, as you can see how comfortable we are and how much fun we're having. Third, Jocelyn is an expert at her craft, although not pretentiously so. Her website offers so much guidance on how the elopement process works. Her emails with us gave us contacts for who to reach out to for certain steps (We took pictures in the lobby of the Beekman and had to have permission granted; something we certainly wouldn't have known!) Not only did we consider Jocelyn our photographer, but our guide in the process of eloping. She also is an expert in that her photo-taking does not appear obvious! I was worried about having professional pictures taken of me in public, but onlookers barely noticed as Jocelyn very naturally pulled her camera out and snapped pictures. If you are eloping in NYC, there is simply no contest; Jocelyn at Everly Studios is your photographer. You won't regret it, and I genuinely believe our wedding day would not have been as smooth and enjoyable if it weren't for Jocelyn.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for these amazing artists!…read more I was initially a bit hesitant about whether it would be worth it to spend the time and money to take maternity portraits; a dear friend encouraged me to take the leap, and I am so so glad I decided to and even more delighted that I found Glow Portraits. If you are considering it and can budget for it, let me be the one to encourage you to DO IT. Thank me later :) Communication was superb. Sophie responds very quickly to questions via phone and email from before booking to session prep to post shoot follow up. Anabella, our photographer, was incredible. She made the experience a complete pleasure, and gave very precise directions that made for simply stunning shots. I often feel a bit awkward on camera, but somehow she got both me and my love posing like pros. The makeup artist also did a truly beautiful job. The proofs and finished images are beyond gorgeous. It was so tough to choose our favorites (we ended up buying some extra images because there were too many we loved). If you're looking at the galleries on their site (like I was) and wondering whether your images can possibly come out as ethereal and magical, the answer is YES. 6/5 stars for the amazing team at Glow Portraits. Thank you for everything!!!

WOW, what an incredible experience from start to finish…read more I booked a maternity session, but unfortunately, my daughter arrived two months early and I had to cancel it. I was heartbroken -- not just because I missed the chance to document my pregnancy, but because everything felt so overwhelming at the time. But what truly blew me away was the kindness and care Sophie showed. She continued to check in on me and my baby as time went on including throughout our NICU journey. A year later, I reached back out to book a baby session -- and it turned out to be even more special. Not only did I finally get the experience and memories that I'd dreamed of, but I got to share it with my daughter who is now healthy, thriving, and full of life. The final photos are absolutely breathtaking, and I will be forever grateful to Sophie and the team at glow portraits for turning such a difficult chapter in my life into beautiful memories that we can cherish forever.

Before the appointment, she reached out to learn more about my skin concerns and current regimen. I told her my biggest skin issues were large pores, sagging skin and a dull complexion. At the appointment, she started the with dermaplaning, which removes peach fuzzes and dead skin cells. My skin instantly felt softer and more breathable. She then did a mint and papaya enzyme peel. The enzyme tingled a little but nothing unbearable and felt really refreshing and nourishing afterwards. She then removed the black heads. But first she applied a partial facial mask to loosen up the sebum in my pores and as a result there's very little pinching and squeezing to remove the blackheads unlike my previous experience with facials. I really loved how painless that was and the results are just as great! Meanwhile, she massaged my shoulders and neck and applied a décolleté peel off mask. she ended the session with a detoxifying charcoal mask. After the 90 minutes treatment, my skin looked taut and bright. The day after (today), my pores are visibly smaller, skin feels even firmer than right after the facial, and my complexion brighter with a healthy glow. Even my husband commented on how much softer my skin feels. Below is the before and after (day after) pictures I took. Even as a makeup artist, I'm not used to thinking a facial can make such a difference, but after my visit with La'Shawn, I'm a believer. I highly recommend La'Shawn's services if you looking for a visible difference to your skin in one visit.

It was my first time getting Extreme Lashes put on and had no clue what to expect. La'Shawn took her time to make sure they were done right and to my liking. La'Shawn is so sweet. I love my lashes and I love La'Shawn....I will definitely be back there for my fills!
