Went in for a few highlights and root touch up. Color was no where what it was supposed to be but it was ok. Went back in a week later for a color correction and to fix highlights. Color was much better. Asked for a trim and left with botched layered cut instead. Spent over $400 and my hair so is fried and so choppy. Can't curl my hair and it's even worse straightened. Of course while there your hair gets styled so can't see how bad it is. I spent so much money and can't even wear my hair down anymore. Don't want to go back in and get the hair cut fixed because my shortest layer is at my chin. read more

My daughter went there with her aid, my daughter has a disability. She got a cut, wash and her eyebrows done. They charged her $70.00. It should have been $53.00. They charged her $17.00 to dry her hair that was almost dry. She paid with her card and left a $2.00 tip. That may not seem like a lot but she has a disability and they way overcharged her anyway. When the charge came through they changed her $2.00 tip to $30.00!!! I called and tried to talk to the owner and I wanted a copy of the original receipt. They said they would get back to me but never did. I called back and spoke to the manager of that location. She told me she would have the owner call me. Meanwhile my daughters aid went there and got $30.00 in cash refunded. I told them I still wanted the receipt to see if it was altered. They would not answer my calls, I am sure they saw my number. I went to the location and asked for the manager. They told me that money was refunded and to let it go. I told them I wanted a copy of the original receipt but they still will not provide it. The owner never called, never apologized. I have a very strong feeling they have done this before. How many other vulnerable people have they done this too???? They own locations in Newburgh, New Windsor and Monroe. If you choose to go there make sure to check your bank account afterwards!! Very bad business!! I went to this salon on Saturday. I spoke with the stylist, and was in the chair as we are discussing pricing for what she is about to do. With the length and thickness of my hair in mind, the cost quoted for my hair was going to cost between $150 and $175. I explained to my stylist that my budget maxed at $200, and I wasn't willing to spend more than that. We were in agreement that the services would not exceed my budget. When it came time to check out, I was charged $300 for my hair. I was floored. When asking how it would be $300, and expressing I had a budget and any additional charges should have been discussed or mentioned, I got rude remarks. The cashier repeats that will be $300. I spent over $300 to get my hair done, when originally being quoted $150-$175. Had I known this price I definitely would not have gone. I walked out $300 less with hair I didn't want and am not a fan of. To make matters worse, what we discussed for my hair was not even close to what I walked away with. Very disappointed in the overcharging, and the rudeness and inability to accommodate the originally quoted price. read more

I have not been seen here for any hair services, but I have gotten my eyelash extensions done here with Margarita. I've had mediocre experiences in the past with eyelash extensions, where they look great but do not last me the way they should. After some research, I decided to try her out. I came in for an allergy test first, to make sure I am not allergic to the adhesive she uses and have since been to her for a full set and a two week fill. At two weeks, I still had a generous amount of lashes still on and didn't feel like I was cheated out of the money I spent on the full set. I went and got a wash cut and she dried my hair, first off when I walked in the girl at the desk was on the phone and gives me the the sign like hold on I'm on the phone, finally someone came over and took me, she never said a word to me about anything so no personality at all. Then she dried my hair like if I was in the 60's , I couldn't wait to get home and flat iron it. She gets all done and they tell me $40 I was like really!!!!! She has a busy schedule so if I'm not able to schedule with her, then I'll book with Kelly; she has also done a great job with cutting and blow drying. My usual hairdresser was not available and I only had a small window of opportunity to have my hair trimmed before I was going to be laid up for a few weeks so I stopped in.......Josie cut my hair, she did a great job and I didnt have any problems/concerns at all....when you check in, they ask you if you want your hair washed, blow dried, styled, etc.or just cut and the price varies accordingly. Went in with my friend who wanted a blow out on a Saturday late morning and the guy didn't even wash her hair! What kind of a blow out it that? I've had many blow outs and never once did I have to specify to wash it. We thought he was looking at her hair and by the time we realized he wasn't going to wash it we just wanted out of there. Waste of my time. She literally spent less than 5 minutes cutting my hair. My hair is fairly short but it looks exactly the same. I have never had a good experience with these chain hair cut places and I wasted my money going there. My hair looks so much the same that I put it up in a pony tail instead of wearing it down. I would give this a zero if I could! I took my son for a haircut out of desperation as our barber was on vacation. The girl cutting was unfriendly and barely spoke. Then gave my son what I would say is the worst haircut he has ever had. Then to add insult to injury they charges me $19 for a child's haircut. On the sign it said kids haircut $13. It's not that hard to cut mens hair. The woman that cut my hair was probably the most unhappy person I've ever met. After she butchered my hair I paid and tipped her, I did so because I was raised with courtesy. Stay away from this company!!! Bad hair and the owner & manager won't do anything to fix it! The owner and manager will not call you to handle an unhappy client, they will not give you their phone numbers (of course not personal, but also won't give business numbers) and they have a young girl trying to act like she can't do anything for you...poor business! Obviously they have these issues all the time. Have you ever heard of a hair salon asking you to sign something stating that they are not responsible for damaged hair??? Don't they all have schooling to learn how to do hair??? Unfortunately, my mother didn't run when they presented her with it! Spread the word to everyone to stay away and read the reviews that I am seeing after the fact. 100% of the the reviews are negative!!! I had been a long time customer of this particular salon for several years and never had much of a problem before. I came in this weekend for a perm. I had been growing my hair for several years and had hair down to the small of my back. When I went in, I had stated very clearly that while I wanted to lose some length, I wanted my hair to still fall below my shoulders. The hairdresser repeated back to me what I wanted so I thought I was in good hands. Could not have been more wrong. From the very first cut I knew it was shorter than I wanted. By the time all was said and done, not only was my hair not below my shoulders, it did not even meet my shoulders. The hairdresser knew I was not happy with the length but tried to justify her screwup by telling me how much younger I looked. I was so unhappy with my hair, that I wasn't even out of the parking lot before I wanted to turn around and get all my hair cut off, and I had been growing it out for nine years.
