The attention to detail is evident from the inside color of the mugs to the carefully formed handles. Note, there are many beautiful glazes that are not colorful as well, more traditional blues and earth tones. I bought a cheerful mug as a tribute to my late rescue Maltese. I will remember the happiness he brought me over 15 yrs when I have coffee every morning in my new favorite mug. The book was Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. You register for the class and pay online. It is an easy process. You pick up the book before the class. You have a few weeks to read the book and then show up to the book club, where you discuss the book while making a craft. I love this concept. This was my dream night/class, getting to read a book and then craft while discussing it. There were about 8 people there and the instructor. Everyone was so kind and excited to be there and talk about the book. The craft was tote bags. We took acrylic paint and painted a bunch of books on there. There were so many creative designs.  The space at Musejar is wonderful. There is a separate entry for art classes and the store. The store has some super cool craft products, as well as a large selection of fiber items, and decor. It is inviting and warm and always decorated with the season or holiday. The art space is open, bright and has everything you need to make your project successful.

I was a little apprehensive, but went to spend time with the family. Okay, I admit it, it was fun. My wife and one daughter selected cups to paint. Another daughter selected a plate. I chose a chip/dip platter. So many options to chose, from seasonal holiday ceramics to coin banks. The owner (?) went over the process in detail. She helped us whenever we had questions. She was great throughout. We can't wait to see the final product. Not saying I'd do this again, but I wouldn't be opposed. The owner was even making some kind of commissioned piece at the counter when I went to pay which I thought was neat. For a gift shop on main street of EA, I expected the prices to be MUCH higher and was plesantly surprised by how reasonable they were. I ended up buying some homemade bath bombs for myself but plan to return soon to get some gifts for the holidays. This is the perfect place to stop to get gifts for everyone in your life! I have had luck finding kids birthday gifts here. Sometimes they have kits and crafts that are different from their competitors. Home decor is also laid out by theme so it's great to come for inspiration or to finish decorating a space.
