I wanted another necklace but it had no price and there was no answer from the artist after the cashier tried to get a hold of them which is a shame because they lost a sale). Even more so, they offer a section for bday parties, which I think is nice for crafters, but it really lacked the luster I would want if I was hosting a bday here, adult or especially child. I did like the selection of Halloween stuff. There's traditional black and orange, there's more girly and modern stuff, and there was a section for black and deep purples they were starting to put up. Another nice thing is they had plenty of registers, including self-checkout AND people working their own registers.

It was right past the Amherst Buffet parking lot (yes, that's what I refer to it as,lol), and in the plaza where Trader Joe's is. It's way in the back of Trader Joe's lot. Easy enough to see when you're driving down Niagara Falls Boulevard. The new location is more spacious, cleaner & it seemed like it had more products. I , of course wanted to but everything I saw, but we went there for 1 thing, which they didn't end up having. I ended up getting something anyways (hehehehe), & they were cheap, which is why Jim bought them for me. =D. It's a fun store to look around if you need home decorations or basic household necessities. They have living room, bathroom, dining room, bedroom items as well as baby products. It's a bit darker and messier than the Home Goods next door, but definitely worth swinging by!

Hobby Lobby: Come for one frame, leave with fall exploding in your trunk. THAT should be their…read moredadgum slogan! Let me be clear: I'm not what you'd call a crafter. In my head, sure--I'm out here crocheting whimsical potholders and making my own scented candles like some kind of Pinterest sorceress. In reality? I want to wake up with the skillset of a seasoned maker without ever enduring the YouTube tutorial struggle. I don't want to learn to crochet--I just want to already know, you feel me? But none of that stops me from wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby like I belong there. Because baby, I do. I may not be gluing rhinestones to wreaths, but when it comes to home decor? This is my Super Bowl. No matter the style, no matter the season--modern farmhouse, vintage cottagecore, "my house looks like an antique shop and I love it" chic--Hobby Lobby always delivers. Fall? They've got pumpkins in every size and personality. Christmas? Don't even get me started unless you want to hear me wax poetic about artificial garland and buffalo plaid. Need a random decorative sign that says "Gather" in cursive? Oh honey, they have seven. And I will consider them all. (Who am I kidding: I already own all seven!) Walking into Hobby Lobby is like entering a magical vortex where time doesn't exist and your cart fills itself. I always leave with twice as many items and zero regrets. And while I may not craft, I absolutely curate vibes--and Hobby Lobby is my go-to for all things "seasonal personality disorder but make it stylish." Five stars. Ten stars. A whole galaxy of stars. And a cart full of throw pillows.

My mom seems to shop here somewhat often but now that I know, I'll be honest: I don't love the overt Christian branding and that alone will never make this store my first choice. That said, I can't deny the variety they offer. No matter what craft you're into whether it be sewing, quilting, painting, home decor, seasonal projects, etc. Hobby Lobby seems to have just about everything imaginable under one roof even if it may be extremely challenging to find/the layout of the store wasn't great... While I'd prefer to shop elsewhere when possible, I can see myself returning if I'm in a pinch or need something specific. I can admit it's a convenient option. Three stars for selection and convenience with some hesitation on the overall vibes and prices.

This is my fave stall in the non-food section of the West Side Bazaar. The clothes are so pretty! This is also the one I spent the most money at for my mother when she was here. I have no idea if she actually wears any of the stuff we bought here (which must have been every colour of the rainbow and more), but knowing her, she probably puts them on for work and for watching TV and "brewing up" (making a cuppa) alike. My favourite thing is that they sell those adorable little nodding cat-heads that all of the Asian places in the world seem to sell. So there is one familiar item (or set of items) among all of the colourful, exotic Burmese awesomeness. This stall seems to do slightly better than the others, but still, with the prices (which are lower than I expected) and the relative lack of business, I worry for all of these stalls. Please come in and check them all out and see what you think. If I were a hippie drunk girl from Manchester, I'd much rather shop here than at any well-known clothing store, even the local ones. That was a comment on my mother, by the way, not you. Hic.
