I was a little apprehensive, but went to spend time with the family. Okay, I admit it, it was fun. My wife and one daughter selected cups to paint. Another daughter selected a plate. I chose a chip/dip platter. So many options to chose, from seasonal holiday ceramics to coin banks. The owner (?) went over the process in detail. She helped us whenever we had questions. She was great throughout. We can't wait to see the final product. Not saying I'd do this again, but I wouldn't be opposed. This was a fun family outing (although I was separated from them as I had a splatter painting). I'm sure it'd be fun with a group or kids party. All the photos are pre-firing in the kiln.

I settled on a coffee mug wall art piece . The girls all picked animal figurines , my friend Heather just watched and assisted her girls with getting paint . The women who was working wasn't super charismatic, but admittedly, she had a full house that afternoon with no help . The cost for the 8 lessons are $175, very reasonable for the 2-hour lesson each week. It covers basic drWing techniques on the first 4 lessons, then we get to practice for the next 4 lessons. They also have other types of art classes, such as ceramics, acrylic, oil, etc. Parking is on street or in the lot across.

Walked in on a Saturday morning probably an hour after opening. They were already pretty busy and…read morehad a big children's party coming. Luckily there was space for myself and 2 gfs. Process is simple. You pick your already made ceramic piece off the shelf and someone sits down with you before you start painting. They explain all the dos and don'ts and show you samples of a good painting job and what happens when you don't later enough paint. Then you go and create your masterpiece! You're free to use whatever brushes you want and all the paint that you need. There also is no time limit of how long you sit and paint. I think my gfs and I took about 2.5 hours? All pieces are priced differently. They're very helpful if you have any questions so don't hesitate to ask! The only thing that my gfs and I didn't realize is that it takes about a week for the pieces to be "glazed". So if you're not from around the area it might be a pain to come back and get it. If you fail to pick up your pieces I believe after 3 months, they donate them. I came back at exactly the 7 day mark and they just finished glazing that morning. Thank god, because I would've been really disappointed if I had gone all that way for nothing. They also have a sign that says no need to call to ask if your piece is ready as it SHOULD be ready within a week.

The have an ample amount of paint options and brushes, which was great. We were a larger party, but we all had enough room at a large table. We also appriciated the worker playing some Taylor Swift music for us! My mom ordered one of their hot drinks, and she really enjoyed it. It is nice that they have a small cafe inside with multiple drink and snack options, espically as you can be there for a while working on your art. I do have to say they are more expensive than other locally owned pottery places, but we were happy with finished pottery pieces.

We were told around 1 to 2 weeks until they are finished and they would send out a email or text to let me know that they are done, but I never received either. I received a voice mail November 7th 2025 8 MONTHS after we gave them money and our time telling me that they have found our painted pottery and that they will be discarding them. I do not recommend created by us they have no care for their costumers and failed to keep track of my pottery.
