Wow, what I hit COVID has taken on all of us...and small businesses. But if these times meant I found The Paint Sesh, then it might have all been worth it! A couple weeks ago my MIL and I we're looking for something to do and ran across virtual paint and sip (from a different business that ended up not being available...whole o5er review) and so we found The Paint Sesh...a happy mistake to run into them! Seriously, we quickly ran out to get the supplies and set up and enjoyed a great fun night of painting! It was fun, accessible, and I was surprised at how well my painting turned out! Needless to say, we are hooked! Just two weeks later, and I find myself joining another night, this time just me! The cost is perfect! The time is fun with great music and lots of encouragement. I'm seriously looking forward to another night and have already reviewed the upcoming paintings to plan more nights if fun. I never would have found them if it hadn't been for COVUD, but man am I glad I did! read more

Fun paint Sesh at El Patrón. Super accommodating, easy instructions and nice music. 21+ event def a plus for the drinks. Will be going back soon! read more

Unfortunately, I can't review this place because we booked 4 people for a special occasion only to find out the night before it got cancelled. Their response was that they could not meet the 10 people required by the restaurant, so my recommendation is to check with the restaurant BEFORE you purchase to see if they might know if the booking is good or call first to check that out. I would not re-book with this group in fear the same thing would happen. If they can't even get 10 people, then I don't feel it would be that much fun here. I'll try another option at another time. Groupon was very nice about crediting my monies back to my account. read more

I was very impressed with their setup, entertaining personalities, chill vibe and guided instruction. My friends and I will definitely be back! This place is great! I brought my mom and my sister for a paint session on Mother's Day and it was amazing. We painted elephants and they came out great. The instructor does a great job teaching you step by step how to paint. If you are not artistic it is easy to learn, but if you are then you full flourish on your own once you start. It was a nice evening, great bonding time and the bar was available to buy your own drinks and snack. It was a great night. With the fee you get your own canvas, paint brushes, and paint color. The session was about 2 hours so not bad at all, and the instructor is there to help if your struggling. Totally worth the money. Will definitely do this again soon! read more

Highly recommend! $15/person is super reasonable! read more

I have a lot of little cousins, ages 4-11, and we like to do "experience gifts" for birthdays and holidays, so when I saw the All Ages class offered through Groupon as a Cyber Monday deal, I went for it. Most kids love to do art projects, and it's easy to find classes for kids all over Southern California, but it is a lot harder to find classes that mix adults and kids offered on days and times that jive with family/school schedules. I brought two kids (ages 7 and 11) and their grandmother (my aunt--she loves to do artsy projects, so it ended up being a gift for her, too), and we all had a great time! The instructor, Chelz, was very nice and patient, not only showing the class how to paint the subject step by step, but encouraging us to add our own character to our work and even praising those variations as she walked around offering individual assistance. Instead of feeling inadequate because their painting didn't look exactly like hers, my cousins felt like they made something beautiful and creative, and they're looking forward to our next adventure! I love that they provide everything needed (brushes, canvases, water cup for rinsing brushes, paper towels, aprons, and paint colors needed for the subject), and they clean everything up at the end! Folks who have done this before brought other paint colors to add (instead of a night sky, for example, there were splashes of color to suggest a sunset). I will definitely do this again with kids in my family and my aunt. read more

I had such a fun time painting with these teachers. They were patient, they were clear with directions, and they were so helpful! We laughed, painted, and sipped. Everyone's paintings were beautiful. And that is the most fun of it all... To see everyone's paintings at the end of class. You should try it. I'm pretty sure you'll like it! read more

Best group painting organizers EVER!! Thank you for all the awesome paint seshs I've done with you !!

The events are so fun! Chris and Chelz are very professional as they lead the classes and help you make art.
