I got a lemon curd tart to go as well (at a steep $4.75) and this one, made with a fresh butter crust and lemons, is fabulous for anyone with a tart-sweet fix. Quality is right up there but portions are tiny for price. I'm beginning to smarten up and realize that there are good places in town, but you pay an arm and a leg for it cause they virtually have no competition. Well, really, even the terrible places you pay an arm and a leg for. On the bright side, this also means I'm saving a lot of money cause I'm not eating out 4x a week like in Vancouver. I went to this restaurant with high expectations for a great evening. What my girlfriend and I…read moreended with was such an unsatisfying experience. Well, from the start, they had our reservation messed up and had us waiting for a table even though we called in. The staff then moved us in an annoyed and hurried rush from our initial table with a wonderful view to one tucked far away in the corner with arguably the worst view from the rooftop. We were served warm glasses of water on a particularly hot evening. We were not served right away either and had to wait almost a half hour before having our orders taken, all the while watching our server tend to other tables who showed up well after we did. Our food took a concerning amount of time, and it had gotten dark by the time our food came. Our appetizer did not even arrive before our entrees did as they didn't even put it in together with our order to begin with, apparently. On top of all of that, try cutting a steak on a very uneven, wiggly table. It's almost comical! Our server was still quite professional with serving us, but I didn't feel a personal connection with him; it didn't seem like he was SERVING us, rather just there to take our plates away (that is, whenever he shows up to our table, once in a blue moon). There was no compensation for the sub-optimal experience we had that night. Only an expensive bill that was not really seeming worth the price. I really wanted to like 20ten, I really did. Unfortunately this night has just left a bad impression on myself and my girlfriend. Please, 20ten team, consider our complaints and adjust your service accordingly for your future service. I'm happy for those who loved their dining experiences here--I just wish we had could have shared the same outlook. I stand firm with my one star review.
