It's a handmade schnitzel with fried spätzel, mushroom gravy and a side of braised purple cabbage. I also ordered a cinnamon bun ($5.5) not pictured. The main dish was exactly what I wanted it to be: crispy schnitzel, good quality, home made spätzle, and comforting. This place is small but VERY popular. There were only 2 people working and they worked their asses off! We showed up close to noon to find all tables taken. But one lady was kind enough to offer to move to a different table to allow my party of 4 to sit. She was the real MVP. Their cinnamon buns are also fantastic. Many of my coworkers rave how they're the absolute best in the city, especially fresh. I'm also in love with the fluffiness of these buns. If you're wanting comfort food or to step out of your comfort zone without straying too far, this is a great place for you.

Typical restaurant lasagna, where they just throw cooked noodles into the cooking vessel, add meat sauce and cover with cheese. Would have been nice to have seen more meat sauce in the dish. Pizza: good crust, lots of toppings and cheese. However, the sauce did not stand out at all. Better than the lasagna, it not by much. Chicken fingers and side fries: overcooked chicken fingers. Specifically asked for a decent amount of ketchup. Received two packets only. Disappointing meal after driving 8 hours while traveling across the prairies. Won't be coming back.

GET THE LENTIL SOUP!!!!!…read more I stopped in here after quickly reading the reviews on Yelp and pulling into my hotel nearby. When I walked in everything looked soo good and I needed a minute to decide. While pursuing the menu I was offered a sample of Tandoori chicken and rice. It was delicious, so I went ahead and ordered the small platter. They graciously substituted red onions for pickles (I don't digest onions well) on my salad and packed the box full of goodness. I had read to not miss out on the soup so I went ahead and ordered a side which my server nicely added on for free :) You've gotta eat here in Sask!
