While pursuing the menu I was offered a sample of Tandoori chicken and rice. It was delicious, so I went ahead and ordered the small platter. They graciously substituted red onions for pickles (I don't digest onions well) on my salad and packed the box full of goodness. In town for work and had to give this place a try. Close to my hotel and I Love shawarma, humus and most all Mediterranean food. Did not disappoint. Guy behind the counter was super friendly, but in Canada, I've come to expect that. Ordered a combo with rice, small salad lamb and chicken tika. Also came with hummus and potatoes. He threw in a bowl of lentil soup that was smooth, hot and surprisingly tasty. Both meats were good, but the star of my meal was the rice, OUTSTANDING! Oh, and grabbed a few pieces of baklava to take back to the hotel. I tried another donair place later in the week and wish I would have just returned to this place. read more

Yummmmm! The boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick meal. We ended up getting the large plate to share, plus soup. We wouldn't have gotten the soup if not for the lady behind the counter offering us samples while we waited. It was too good not to order. I substituted the regular salad for tabouli; fully expected an upcharge, and was pleasantly surprised to find out there wasn't one. When we sat down to eat, we realized just how much food we had! Seriously--split a large plate instead of getting two smalls or mediums. You'll save some $ too. When we were almost done eating, a man from behind the counter came to our table and offered us more samples. Barley with tomato and spices I think? I like that samples were offered not just before purchasing (to help us decide) but even after, knowing we probably wouldn't buy anything else after we were done eating that night. I think the owners just love to feed people. :) It really seemed like they took pride in their cooking. When I ordered the soup after I tried her sample, she had this look on her face like I complimented her, and smiled in an "I knew you'd like it" way. I assume it's a family business, and they all seemed to enjoy themselves working alongside each other--again, with pride--but also a sense of tranquility. No one ran around like a chicken with its head cut off like some places where all the employees are stressed out. My experience eating here was lovely. Our regular downtown hotel was booked out so We found ourselves staying at a hotel on the east side of Regina. After a long day of meetings We didn't have the inclination to drive anywhere and were resigned to ordering in when we found Zam Zam online. A short walk in the fog brought us to this oasis of friendly folks who are obviously very proud of their food - and for good reason. While not the best Lebanese food we've ever had, it is very good. What brought them up to our rating was the enthusiasm of the staff and the delightful routine they have of offering samples of pretty much everything on the menu. Don't let the fast food counter-style service scare you off. This is good, healthy food; we'll be back. read more

I have been to the Cornwall location 3 times and have had no complaints. They give you a huge wrap for a good price. Love the flavours. Staff is very knowledgeable and are very good at explaining the different toppings if you are unsure what they are. I like the location away from the food court. Let's just start with walking in the door. We were greeted with a friendly "hello". The owner then asked us if we have been here before, and we told him it was our first time. He then gave us samples right away and explained the sizes and how things worked. We then received our food, and no one had complaints. The prices are great and the food amazing! My wife got the lamb wrap and LOVED it and she is usually picky on her lamb wraps! My father in law and I got the platters and we were also very pleased with our food!
