My coworkers and I went out for lunch! We figured we may as well try somewhere with a good reputation. I am happy to report that Memories Dining & Bar lives up to the hype! I'm also impressed by the refined atmosphere. Their wine cellar was very interesting to look at through the glass. The lunch menu is surprisingly affordable. You can order something on the light side or the heavier side. I got the Memories Deluxe Burger with home cut fries ($18). Shockingly, this burger is the BEST restaurant burger in Regina. It's an 8 oz. CAB prime rib patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions & chipotle mayonnaise. The fries, like I said, are 100% home cut. They taste exactly like the fries my dad makes at home. My only, only, extremely minor critique is that I wished they made the chipotle mayonnaise with a bit more bite. As a burger, it's a solid, fresh tasting, great quality burger. You can taste and feel the quality in the patty, cheese, bacon and the bun. This burger is simple, but they hit every mark. And that's exactly what makes it so good. My coworkers were also extremely happy with their food. Not to mention, the service was also fantastic. Memories Dining & Bar - Deluxe Burger with fries - French Near Me - Regina, Saskatchewan

Checked into the Marriott Courtyard Downtown after a long day's drive from Lloydminster. We were too exhausted to go out so we decided to try Memories Dining and Bar located in the hotel. What an amazing dining experience! I had Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer and my husband had the lobster bisque. Both dishes were delicious. Our entrees were a baked half chicken stuffed with Greek feta cheese, topped with a lemon, oregano, wine and garlic sauce for me and the rack of lamb for him. The chicken was the best I have EVER eaten and I couldn't finish it! Desserts were equally wonderful; apple crisp and the chocolate lava cake. It is a lovely dining room - low lighting, cloth napkins, charger plates - very elegant and romantic. The excellent service was the icing on the cake. If we lived in Regina, this would be our go to spot for date nights, birthdays, and anniversaries. read more

I went here for my birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. They accommodated my allergy and they also accommodated to some food preferences I had on the menu we had gotten the fixed menu for two and had changed the dessert into something that we preferred more. Fantastic food and service ! You really get what you pay for ! I've been here a few times and every dish I've had has been outstanding . I need to come back to try the desert crepes ! Table side service is also an option here which is fun and engaging . I had a speciality coffee and my server had a few tricks up her sleeve ( there was fire and sparkle ) such a nice surprise . Expensive but very very good. Went their for Valentine's Day and it was exceptional despite the Hugh volume of patrons. Note: their lobster tails are 10 ounces. One does the trick. The 2 tail meal is insanity filling. Great place. I will go again and again. read more

This restaurant was inside a hotel. After walking through the lounge (a different menu), we sat down in the dining room. There was a nice selection of varying lighting, some seats with more romantic dim lighting and some wonderfully lit seats right by the window, which is where we sat. I had a 4 course meal (the March madness dinner). It was well presented, well timed for serving the courses, and very tasty. The service checked in at the right frequency. Overall a good experience. The base menu was a bit overpriced, but the special 4 course was great value. Make sure you are hungry! read more

I wasn't sure what to expect as this place is under the quality hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised. There was a larger group of us in a private room and the service was well executed. Everyone received their orders, no delay. Very courteous and the dinner special was well priced. They had a special for $30 - I had the clam chowder, Caesar salad and beef chuck. Everything was tasty. The beef was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. Everyone was satisfied with the meal and admitted it was definitely worth a return visit. From the outside, there is no indication that this is a fine dining restaurant other than the sign. It's attached to a three star hotel (Quality Inn). My coworker and I took our resellers there while visiting, and it was amazing. They made a peppercorn steak tableside and our desserts tableside as well. The food was aaaaaamazing. The service was impeccable, and the gentlemen who served us were really sweet. The interior is a touch strange and some booths where you can sit it feels really open- ours was facing the entrance to the establishment so that's the only thing we could look at, but they put a napkin on our lap and made our night special, so that was sweet! A touch expensive but that's the point I think. An amaaaazing desert to top it off! So nice. read more

This restaurant with the Quality Inn Regina, is surprisingly excellent!!! They can do gluten-free and/or vegan options. I had the stir-fry last night and again today for lunch. Last night I had stir-fry vegetables w/chicken and today w/tofu -- both had very thin rice noodles. Tell them how you like your stir-fry or any dish and they will do it. Great flavor, firm fresh veggies -- very satisfyingly delicious. read more

Food is always good, but the service can be hit or miss. They favorite regular customers, and ignore those they do not know.

- Dinner bun was rock hard and cold - frog legs were put whole into a pasta sauce where you couldn't taste them, only the sauce, and you had to fish them out to get the bones out - full rack of lamb was okay (for $50 I would hope so) but it was covered in sauce and the potatoes were boiled I think(?) and there was a ton of oil at the bottom of my plate when I was finished Expensive menu. I'm a visitor here (for business) and I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The service was fantastic -- informational about their specials and very attentive as time went buy. They didn't rush the food as our group was talking but nor was it late at all. And the food -- FANTASTIC. Three of our party of 6 has the 4-course special advertised on the Facebook page and wow where they happy! The rest of us ordered from the regular menu. My escargot was spectacular, and my Rack of Lamb was the best I had ever had. Cooked to perfection at a medium-rare, with veggies and an amazing sauce. Beautiful decor, quite atmosphere.... I never ever make a fuss with dinning experiences good or bad nor have i ever written a restaurant review but i was too baffled about my dinner experience this evening to remain silent.  I'll start with positive comments: excellent frog legs. extremely courteous polite and professional server.  Mousakka was not fresh. drenched in oil - not in a rich way but distasteful. tasted frozen and warmed up, coming from a Mediterranean background besides the point (My partners meal) filet mignon which I took one bite of: wow, chef: sorry I don't come from a long line of butchers with expertise in meat but i know what a 50 dollar fillet mignon ought to taste like. the meat was rubbish - it was over cooked. The chef came out to my table pointing his cooking tongues at me and sneering as to why i sent my 50 dollar filled mignon back to the kitchen twice. With all due respect, I know the difference between a triple A Cut of fillet mignon and Angus cut and i don't need anyone describing it to me- when a cut of meat is cooked poorly you'll get it sent back, specially with a 50$ price tag. I've never had a chef come to my table and demand an explanation as to why I sent my food back. I had one bite and didn't finish it. If you approach a table looking for constructive criticism don't approach in haste and fury. Regardless, such practice is unorthodox, impolite, and to be honest my whole table was rattled.  Second, if you cannot speak English well - convey your concern with more respect. I've had 200 dollar cuts of meat in various parts of the world so please calm down with the pretentious attitude and facade. try the food yourself and see if it's cut out to the high standards the owners and managers seem to So proudly, but unjustifiably defend both in person and on this site; as I just read some of the other reviews.  MY FIRST & LAST TIME: a restaurant that desperately attempts to portray high caliber dishes but rather serves $15 plates with a quadrupled premium. read more

Memories Fine Dining is the best fine dining restaurant in the city. If you're looking for high quality service, delicious french and greek food, and the best wine selection, Memories Fine Dining is the place to go. I would strongly recommend that you try their greek chicken stuffed with feta cheese, and their strawberries peppercorn desert, just amazing!
