Small place that looks like it should be on DDD. Food was fantastic. The waiter made great recommendations. Butter Chicken, Fried Rice and Naan all were excellent. Service can be a little slow if they are busy, but very friendly and food is worth the wait. Definitely finish your meal with the mango smoothie. read more

My wife and I went to Ginger Garlic on a Saturday evening and the food was excellent. We go there at 5 and the place was almost empty with only one other table of people, but by 6 it was packed and people had to wait for a table. Highly recommend! read more

For a taste of Nepal in Regina, Ginger Garlic Nepalese Cuisine is the place to be. We visited on a weekday afternoon for lunch and were served immediately. The service was warm and friendly. Our host was very personable and took the time to explain the dishes to us. We ordered the Chicken Noodles and Chicken Momos. The noodles came with chicken breast fried with noodles, veggies, onion, ginger, garlic, eggs and sauces. The Chicken and Veggie Dumplings were served with a dipping sauce of fire-roasted tomato chutney, the cilantro and spice hits the tongue with flavour - so delicious. This place is a must visit. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. The chicken noodles were so good - I wanted to lick the plate! We had the fish skewa (sp) and it was so tender with a bit of mustard crispness on the outside. The samosa is with the most tender outer crust that I have ever tasted with the potatoes mostly mashed inside. One order of naan was plentiful for two people. We had the vegetable Manchurian and will try the chicken or fish next time. Highly recommended restaurant! read more

The only reason for not receiving 5 stars is how slow the dine in service was last night. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The take out was flying out the door while it took us over an hour to receive our order. They did bring us a small appetizer due to the long wait which was appreciated but didn't go far in satisfying 5 hungry people. We've been looking for an indo-chinese style restaurant here in Regina since we moved here from Toronto 4 years ago. We tried Ginger Garlic as we heard about its opening about a month ago. This spot really hit a home run on most counts. To begin, we had two types of Momo's vegetable and Chicken. While both were good, we preferred the vegetable Momo's better. The star of the appetizers were the lamb sekuwas which were tender and moist but had a great spice to them. Yummy!! For the main, we ordered the Manchurian vegetable balls and Chili Chicken which were as good as we've had anywhere out east. The hit of the meal though was the Vegetable noodles which had a subtle heat to them but packed with flavor from the indo-chinese spices. Definitely a repeater with us (including the 2 teenage girls that were part of our party). read more

Amazing food. My wife is a bit of a samosa coniseur. She loves how the potatoes are mashed with the spices. Grill pork is one of the best dishes. Do yourself a favor and get the garlic naan. It's the best I've ever had. read more
