    Collection of various Entremets

Looking for a bakery in Regina that goes beyond simple baked goods and overtly sweet creations? Le Macaron was pleasantly surprising and admirable in that their menu items range from simple baked breads to pâtisserie and viennoiseries to beautiful collections of Entremets and a varied drink menu. The ambiance is quite elegant and the place is always clean and quiet. It can get confusing though sometimes as the tills are in the middle of the display cases so the customers will browse right and left and then drift back to the line in the middle to order. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous and i find this the only place in the city that makes Entremets that doesn't overwhelm with sweetness. The balance between the smoothness of the cream with the bitterness of cacao on my go-to cakes are perfect accompaniments to a hot cup of cafe americano!

Love this adorable little place. The lattes are fantastic and the choice of baked goods is one of the best in the city. The crepes and quiche were a lovely lunch. The carrot torte was a little dry, but the macaroons were fantastic. It is so nice to cozy up by a fire and enjoy all this has to offer.

Very good quality coffees and pastries here. One of my favorite, gab-with-your-best-friend over lattes and biscotti places in Regina. The quality is easily comparable to any bakery in Vancouver and with a fresh rotation of macaron flavours, you cannot go wrong. Sometimes the macaron crusts get a little thick and pasty but the flavours are interesting enough to keep everyone coming back for more. I've ordered a birthday cake for a friend before and they easily customized one for me. It's the only decent place for good cake here, forget about grocery store cakes *yuck -except from Fresh St. or Whole Foods*. Plenty of parking and a fantastic pit stop if you're sick of big box shopping. Park your tired soles (and bum) on one of their comfy lounge chairs and experience a French patisserie break.

Friendly staff and quality baked goods! Good place to catch up with friends. Support local business instead of Starbucks!

Le Macaron did a beautiful job preparing a birthday cake for my wife. The salted caramel and creamsicle macarons were delicious. Le Macaron setup the cake and worked with the florist to match all the flowers and decorations. The cake was spectacular and delicious! They were also fantastic to work with!

I came into town to visit my friend & was pleasantly surprised to be treated to a quaint dessert coffee shop in the city's east end. The shops decor was bright with lots of windows.  Thank goodness it was a sunny day - it felt like summer.  Together with the special desserts we picked - it was lip smacking good. We ordered the carrot torte with cream cheese icing & a chocolate "the bomb" - my name for this creamy dessert.  We went there on a Sunday afternoon & managed to get a nice table in the back sunny section.  It was busy around 3:00 pm so if u want a quick snack - go after around 4 pm - just before supper.  Parking is readily available. Of course - never leave without getting the macarons. My good friend bought me a gift package.

    Saskatoon berry gluten free crêpes

Amazing food with tons of gluten free options! The gluten free crêpes very obviously use buckwheat flour (which I personally am not a huge fan of) so they have a bit of an odd aftertaste. The desserts, however, are absolutely delicious! Options varying from, of course, macarons to cake. A huge bonus is their adorable decor! The entire café is decorated in Parisian style (including the bathroom!). There is a fireplace in the main room which adds a sense of coziness and around the corner from where you can watch the crêpes being made is a gorgeous covered patio. It feels much more secluded than the main room but offers the same Parisian vibe. Overall it was rather expensive but a great place for coffee and dessert.

Great Cafe, great selection of desserts and of course macarons. My sister took me here while I was visiting from out of town and I was very impressed. A neat little spot what loads of seating inside and out. A great feel inside with dining chairs for 'tea' and outside with tables and sun and a view for street cafe experience. Impressive selection of well presented desserts from pumpkin cake, mascarpone dish to a good selection of macarons. Some were Matcha green tea, salted caramel, chocolate espresso, lemon, and more. Some flourless options as well. Definitely worth a try and Regina should be happy to talk about it and attend often.

Everything from…read morethe food and cocktails to the service to the general decor and vibe of this place were superb. My wife was celebrating her birthday so we indulged in a chef curated four course meal with wine and cocktail pairings and everything was an absolute hit. For our meal, the courses were structured with a few appetizers for the first course, a pasta dish for the second, a fish entree (I requested no red meats) and then a dessert to top it all off. Our appetizers included the house whipped ricotta, the heirloom tomato and compressed melon salad and the seared albacore tuna. I have to say, I've never had melon as good as the melon in the tomato and melon salad. The depth of flavor they achieved with by compressing it with oils and herbs was remarkable, I would come back for that alone and I normally don't like melon. The seared tuna was exceptional, as was the whipped ricotta. All of this was paired with a light sparkling citrus cocktail, which I unfortunately cannot remember what it had in it, but it was my personal favorite of the night. For the pasta course, we had an agnolotti pasta that was filled with what I believe was a delicious ricotta filling and a light tomato sauce, paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was fresh and herbaceous and it was the right amount to leave you satisfied, but not feeling too full. The cab sauv wasn't over oaked, like most California cabs, but still had that traditional peppery cab sauv taste that paired so well with the pasta sauce. Our main entree was the la ronge walleye paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. The walleye and potatoes were delicious, however I did feel like the fish was overpowered by the spring pea velouté, which was unfortunate but personally, I'm not a massive fan of peas. However, if you like them, this is a great option and the quality of the walleye was top notch. The dessert course was a pistachio & coffee semifreddo with boozy cherries and the cocktail I would describe as sort of a play on an espresso martini, but way better. Both were fantastic! I was really able to detect the pistachio, which I assumed would be masked by the coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised. On top of that, we were also generously given an order of the madeleines for my wife's birthday and we absolutely adored them. They had a light citrus note to them that really enhanced the flavor. Our server was also excellent and very kind. We told him we were from the US and it was our first time in Regina and he gave us a bunch of recommendations for things to check out around the area. The four course meal and cocktails were a wonderful value for the price, I would highly recommend it and I'm excited to come here again!

I'm also impressed by the refined atmosphere. Their wine cellar was very interesting to look at through the glass. The lunch menu is surprisingly affordable. You can order something on the light side or the heavier side. I got the Memories Deluxe Burger with home cut fries ($18). Shockingly, this burger is the BEST restaurant burger in Regina. It's an 8 oz. CAB prime rib patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions & chipotle mayonnaise. The fries, like I said, are 100% home cut. They taste exactly like the fries my dad makes at home. My only, only, extremely minor critique is that I wished they made the chipotle mayonnaise with a bit more bite. As a burger, it's a solid, fresh tasting, great quality burger. You can taste and feel the quality in the patty, cheese, bacon and the bun. This burger is simple, but they hit every mark. And that's exactly what makes it so good. My coworkers were also extremely happy with their food. Not to mention, the service was also fantastic. Memories has the basics done extremely well, which assures me they can handle everything else. I cannot wait to return, for lunch and dinner!

Unfortunately, what I received was nothing close to risotto--it looked like mashed potatoes with cream cheese. When I asked the waitress what type of rice was used, she didn't know and had to check with the chef. She returned saying it was Jasmine rice. For anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine, risotto should be made with Arborio rice, cooked al dente, and prepared with the right ingredients. Calling that dish "risotto" was misleading. Despite that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance because it's close to my workplace. Today, however, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience. I had made a reservation for two yesterday and requested specific dishes (soup and salad). This morning, due to work commitments, I asked the other person to cancel the reservation. Shortly after, I received a call from the owner. His reaction shocked me--he was rude, aggressive, and argumentative, even as I apologized. Instead of trying to understand the situation or find a solution, he kept escalating the conversation. When I tried to mention customer service, he was completely dismissive, so I ended the call. I overlooked my first bad experience and kept going back, but after today, I will never return. Think twice before visiting--if this is how the owner treats customers, imagine how he treats his staff.
