One of the best parts of attending race day at Santa Anita Park is visiting the paddock. You can get really close when they go up the ramp. Be sure you do especially if you're betting the local races. No better way to check out the handicappers advice then seeing them for yourself! read more

Had an awesome time here! I love this bar! It's so convenient and the chairs are comfortable, the bartenders are happy, upbeat and ready to make you anything you'd like! The day we were at the track it was a bit chilly, so popping over to the The Paddock was great being that there are heat lamps. Yay for that! We had a great time and will surely return! read more

Awesome how close you can get to the horses and jockeys- my kids love it! They will even give you a tour before the races start!!!

I was actually surprised at the size of the crowd Monday, very well attended. For those new to Santa Anita go to the Frontrunner for a restaurant experience overlooking the stretch run. Serious horse players go to the "Room" - it's next to the Chandelier room. Used to be called the Sports Book but now it's just unnamed. The clubhouse side has outdoors table seating just past the finish line. Plenty of bars and food venues throughout for those so like to walk around and visit the paddock and walking ring. Peacocks walking around. An experience I will cherish for ever. On race day, there were rides, food, beer, and just a good vibe that would make anyone come back again. Sure it was hot! But it's also California! Gotta love a sunny, bright, hot day with cotton like clouds up in the sky. Happy summer everyone!

My husband, son and I had a reservation time of 7:00 p.m., but I could tell this system wasn't really being followed because of all the long lines. I think we waited an hour to drive on the Pinball Track. It was fun to drive the Mini Hardtop without someone else in the car, but it was over faster than a ride at an amusement park. I would definitely go again, but I think I prefer racing at Alexander Mini downtown.

I'm green in the hobby but I did do my due diligence and research before purchasing items with the staff. I know things can get hectic so do your research on their website. They have a rough blueprint on what things will be needed in the 1/10 scale drift buyers guide. Some small things and left out like a power lead to charge your batteries, so make sure to ask for that. Overall I have never got bad customer service. It has been very short with answers so I just do my best to get to the point with what I need/ ask what they recommend

Almost all of the people there were male adults, but the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, and sometimes female family members dropped by. My son rented an RC drift car with charged battery for $30. They said the battery may last about 45 minutes, but it ended up lasting an hour and a half! He then got a second battery for $10 and played another hour and a half. He had a great time! They have an impressive stock of cars and parts. There are two tracks--one for non-drift, and one for drift. The drift track was definitely the popular one with almost all customers there and only one or two at the other. Place was a little hard to find--no obvious signs, had to ask someone else. Entrance was at the corner of the building with subtle signage.

I lasted less than an hour. Today I went to the class with Jeff and I can't believe how much I learned today. Jeff is truly an asset to Honda. He is so patient, teaches you with care, guides you as your doing the training, takes the time to explain everything so you're comfortable, and encourages you to overcome your fear of riding. We were a small group of 4, everyone was very pleasant, and we took lots of great photos. I highly recommend this course to everyone wanting to learn dirt bike skills. I will definitely be back to take more classes with Jeff. Thank you!

Staff here is pretty quick, I have a AMC member account and saw that there's two lines to purchase concessions but the priority line (member line) had more people than the non member line, a bit of a funny moment there as my partner and I lined up at the non member line and got out popcorn quicker than the priority line. Parking is plenty, free in a large shared lot. You'll have a harder time not finding parking to be honest. One thing I can appreciate is that they keep the venue clean, plenty of restrooms around, speakers during the movies are pretty modernized as well which is nice as movie ticket prices these days are not cheap.

There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive since this movie theater is located inside a shopping center. Some parking spots are smaller than others so be mindful where you park. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and massive. This theater is pretty big. I think it has like 16 massive big screens in total. The bathrooms are cleaned every hour or so. The bar is small, but nice. The concessions stand is pretty well stocked with lots of yummy snacks for movie goers. Staff: The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

It's a great opportunity for local film makers to show their completed short films, and if you register through WithOutABox you receive IMDB Credit also. One of the Short Films I Wrote, Directed, and Produced, appeared at the AOF in 2014 and it was a great experience, especially as a filmmaker. While the Short I presented didn't win any awards, it was great to gather with friends, family and strangers as they watched and applauded the film. AOF had initially announced that they would be giving two full-access passes, one for myself and one for my Assistant Director or Director Of Photography; they changed it to a single full-access pass at the last minute. According to the volunteer staff, the change occurred because the festival had been extended through the entire week and needed the extra money to cover the costs. Cast, crew and Guests purchased tickets. The tickets were around $14 per slot of films. I am not sure if I will submit future film productions to the Action On Film Festival even though I enjoyed it. Mainly because I would like to experience other local film festivals and because each film festivals have a submission fee, it is necessary to be selective. The Director whose film I oversaw the lighting for, that also appeared at the AOF 2014 Festival intends on submitting his next production or script to the AOF in 2016 or 2017. As a film submitter, you will receive a photo Identification badge that gives you open access to anywhere the festival events are occurring during the week, except for the Honorary Banquet Dinner which costs extra. You will also receive a bag that includes a full color magazine which is beautiful and even includes the film you submitted - a perfect memory keepsake. The bag also includes film cards and other information. As with any film festival the quality of the entries varied quite a lot. I attended three film sets (about 1 -2 hours each) and could easily observe the production quality depending on subject and filmmaking talents. From a film makers perspective, the Action On Film International Film Festival is a great experience and worth submitting your film production to.
