I'll be honest.... I really wanted to like this place. The website looked wonderful, but the reality was less than ideal. I will start with the positives: - Staff....polite, friendly, helpful - Facilities... not bad! They had a pool, a couple hot tubs, and several fire pit areas available to reserve, down a a sleepy little creek. Ideal for kids to play, or to just relax. The place is far enough off the beaten path to be fairly peaceful and quiet. Lotsa green space to walk our dogs. Bugs didn't seem to be a problem, even being this close to woods and water. - A coffee and booze bar in the lobby. - Live music on two evenings. Now, the bad stuff: - the room. I've stayed in better Motel 6s. Not a room we wanted to hang out and relax in. The single queen room was extra small.... No space for luggage or to hang some clothes. Concrete floor that looks like it may have used to be covered but it was ripped up and replaced with a throw run that was barely bigger than the bed. The blinds didn't quite cover the window so you were guaranteed glare coming into the room, and to be greeted by the dawns early light. The room had a fridge that worked, but no coffee maker. The air conditioner worked well, but was noisy. No decor besides a couple small, random, oddly placed items on the wall. Water temperature and pressure in the shower were ok. - The free continental breakfast wasn't much. Cereal, some packaged muffins and danish that weren't very good. Some overripe bananas. Some weak coffee. - Weak wifi. Our room was in the center of the complex and we got one to two bars at best, and frequently lost the signal. We ended up having to use the hotspot on our phones. What makes it worse is that the TV also ran off the WiFi, and we lost signal. Bottom line..... if I had a better idea of what I was getting into I may have stayed elsewhere. Great surroundings but a disappointing room. Not sure we will return. read more

We stayed at The Ozarker Lodge during a fall getaway to Branson, and overall, it was a good experience with a few quirks worth noting. Vibe & Amenities: The lodge has a unique, nostalgic atmosphere with a cool retro-inspired aesthetic. One of our favorite features was the fire pit area, which we used to make s'mores a couple of nights. It's a nice touch that they sell firewood and s'mores kits at the front desk. There's also a small creek right behind the property, I took my kid down there one evening, and we skipped stones together. It turned out to be a peaceful, unexpected highlight, and I'd definitely recommend setting aside some time for it during your stay. Coffee & Breakfast: The lodge offers coffee at the front desk. It was the second-best latte I had during our entire Branson trip, pretty well-executed milk texture and balance, though the chocolate they use for the mocha could be higher quality. We also had breakfast at the lodge before leaving, and while it wasn't extraordinary, it was a convenient and decent way to start the day. One kind of quirk is the people making drinks are also checking people in and handling issues, so during peak times it's a bit chaotic and you have to wait awhile. Also often there would be two people working and both would be troubleshooting the same issue instead of diving and conquering. Service & Booking: Staff were friendly and responsive. I had an issue with a duplicate charge when booking, and while it took a couple of conversations to get it resolved, they ultimately handled it and added a couple of free drink tokens to make up for the hassle. That said, booking through their website was clunky and didn't work, ended up having to book through a third party site to get a room booked and some of what I saw online didn't quite match the reality, not in a major way, but enough to reset expectations a bit. EV Charging: The most frustrating part of the stay was the situation with EV charging. The lodge advertises Tesla destination chargers and they work flawlessly when you can actually access them. Unfortunately, there's no signage or enforcement. Every night we were there, non-EVs parked in the charging spots, often staying there all night. I even saw cars parked in the fire lane for hours, especially from people going to the adjacent restaurant, with no staff intervention. As someone who planned my stay and arrival times around having access to those chargers, it was disappointing. If you arrive late and are relying on charging overnight, you probably will be out of luck, especially if it's a peak time. Final Take: The Ozarker Lodge has a lot going for it: a distinctive vibe, cozy extras like s'mores and a creekside hangout, and friendly service. But they've got a few things to tighten up, especially EV charging. Still, I'd consider staying here again, especially if those kinks are ironed out. read more

What a gem! This coffee shop/common area has a phenomenal atmosphere and such a fun, welcoming environment. Every game you could possibly want is available to enjoy while sipping your coffee, and they even had a delicious Christmas beer on tap, which was such a fun surprise! The freshly made scones were out of this world -- baked that morning and absolutely amazing. The apple cinnamon was perfection, and the raspberry was pure deliciousness. On top of all that, the staff truly makes this place special. Brenda, Rob, and Jonathan were incredible -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I give the rooms a 2 and the property a 5. Beautiful location, great staff, outdoor spaces lovely and the lobby is inviting. Ample parking and excellent coffee. Beds very comfortable. Things that could be improved upon: room lighting terrible, useless fixtures tub slippery toilet seat low no closet more hangers and real ones not a circle on top hooks everywhere but poorly designed and dangerous space between tv deck and the wall so things fall no in-room coffee and lobby coffee not available until 6 a.m. no drawers or chairs, just a deck and a some poofs breakfast cold and could be jazzed up, but nicely served wall decor odd and ill sized for the space no elevator and stairs are old stairs from second floor to third are not covered, rain a problem no iron We enjoyed our stay, but may look for another location. Cozy small lodge that has been totally redesigned. We came by here for coffee and decided this was our next stay in Branson. The seller is the front area and pools. The rooms themselves are very tight and small, the beds are comfortable though. I do wish the rooms had a closet to hang clothes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My friend and I stayed at Anglers lodge on July 26th for the Kane Brown concert for one night. Christian at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. He informed us of his favorite infinity pool that's usually not crowed with a beautiful view. It was the highlight of our stay and we wouldn't have known about it without Christian's help. While we were taking the elevator to check out from the 2nd floor, one of the elevator's wasn't operating as it should. We stood and waited a few minutes while employee Isaac attempted to fix the issue. As we chatted he insisted that he carry our luggage down the flight of stairs instead of us waiting for the other elevator. The customer service provided by employees Christian and Isaac was not only exceptional, but made our stay enjoyable and worth repeating. This is a Route 66 type venue. The architecture and history of the lodge are wonderful! We had a queen bed sized room and it was a bit smaller than a normal hotel room. So, be prepared for being a bit cozier than what you are used to. The lodge does a great job of communication! We had some minor mobility issues and were able to be placed on the second floor....as this lodge does NOT have elevators. The best perk were the outdoor hot tubs. Located by a pretty creek and forested area, one could easily enjoy any one of the outdoor amenities....especially in the cooler weather. The breakfast was your usual hotel type breakfast but without eggs/sausage. We did have a number of issues with our tv/tv remote. But, the on-site maintenance person quickly took care of the problems. I would definitely go back! read more

This place was awesome! So many cute amenities. The lights, the fixtures, the little details made it even more awesome. Each staff member was awesome, breakfast was great, the music near the creek was relaxing, the hot tubs looked clean and relaxing. The coffee bar area was such a nice addition to our stay. Grab a cup and mingle with other guests. People complained about the beds, they are a little firm... but that's how hotel beds are. These were better than most. We stayed on the first floor and could hear kids going up and down stairs, but most of the time we weren't in our room so it didn't bother us. This lodge is my top 3 of all places stayed EVER and it wasn't even expensive! We will return if we are ever in the area. read more

Never Staying Here Again Absolutely the rudest, most heartless service I've ever dealt with. I wasn't feeling well and politely asked for just 15-30 extra minutes to get ready. Instead, they threatened to charge me $20 if I was even one minute late. When I asked for a manager, the manager was even nastier--zero compassion, zero professionalism. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel? Please. The rooms are nothing special, no iron, the phone doesn't even work, and the staff make it clear they don't care about guests at all. All the hot tubs were closed due to a "group" of unsupervised guests (?)...The room had no closet nor a chest of drawers...We were staying for three days (lucky us!)... I wonder why someone rated this place so low but it was THE BEST lodging experience I've ever had! This is what I envision when I think of couples, young travelers, and families coming to relax and commune with one another. I wish they had a location in every state! The decor, the staff, the ammentities- A1! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The complex had their own unique touches to the rooms that I loved- a different animal doormat per room. They gave you your own map and spots that they recommended. Plus you get 10$ credit to spend on a coffee or a glass of wine! So many people brought their dogs which gave it a nice homey touch too. We choose this hotel for a one night! Let me tell you the work they have done is amazing, the place is very family friendly. They offer many activities to do and the view is super cool. We were surprised with the coffee shop and all the extra they do offer. The technology they used for customer management, the security steps and the follow up is outstanding. Let me explain as a family we have travel everywhere we have try expensive resorts and cool camping grounds, and the ozarker branding and rhetoric feeling they want to achieve is right there! Take a break come try this place and for sure try the extra amenities they have! Did I mention they have ana amazing wine variety! Yes they do! My stay here definitely had some pros and cons, so allow me to offer you my full review. First impressions were not great to be honest. I arrived at 9 pm. The parking lot was completely empty, which was a little odd. The front desk host openly admitted that she was new and basically had no idea what she was doing. She told me to just come back down in the morning to get the full welcome experience. Let's start with the cons: * While it is a boutique hotel, the experience itself really isn't that much different than just a modernized/updated motel. * They got rid of the $5 food and beverage coupons in exchange for a poor continental breakfast which consisted of: hard boiled eggs, toast, two flavors of muffins, and two types of cereal. * For some reason, even though there were literally like four of us on property, they put us all in a centralized location. There was a family next to me and people above me. It's not very noise-proof. I didn't sleep well because of the people above me. * I wanted to have my window shade open to admire the view, but I felt very exposed at people walked by, cuz you can see right in. * I wanted to bring my dog, but the limit is 40 lbs. Pros: * Ali was very helpful, kind, and attentive. * The aesthetic is 10/10 and very Ozarks. * Definitely give the playlist a listen. * SDC taffy on check-in * My package came with hot chocolate and a free beanie, but they were out of beanies, so I got to pick a T-shirt or hat. I'd have rather had the t-shirt anyway! * Nice and close to the strip. * The hot tubs are open all year and are very enjoyable. * Coffee and cocktails for purchase are good. I'm sure it's a better experience in the warmer months when they have more things to do. To be honest, I personally felt like the prices are a little steep. BEWARE!!! Everyday there were charges to our credit card. These charges changed daily from $70 to $137 dollars daily. We inquired about them. $12 dollars a day for amenities such as pool (which is closed) parking??????, breakfast (which consists of bagels, cereal, hard boil eggs), fire pits and $50 a day for Incidentals. So, every charge that was added to our credit card is subject to a Missouri tax, hmmmmmmm. Got sorta pricy not to mention unwanted charges to our credit card that impacted our credit usage AND credit score. Front desk said the incidental charges will fall off if there is no damages. We are both 60 years old here, had no ragers here, lol. The room, small. Maybe a 4' walk way from edge of bed to counter where TV is. Big rug where the 2 queen beds are at but concrete flooring, yes concrete, everywhere else. Concrete tends to be cold and dirty. I know it's sealed but still. Room came with a micro refrigerator but no microwave. Really? You have 2 restaurants on either side of the Ozarker would have been nice to have left overs and be able to reheat them if need be. Beds were very comfy, won't complain about that. TV was sorta hard to maneuver through. Came with instructions but had problems. Stuck watching just about every episode of Bar Rescue on Pluto TV. BEWARE, there is also $135 early check out fee. Also, got a text message prior to our arrival asking to speed up check in and pre fill out everything So did that, JOKE! Had to do it once arrived at front desk, this resulted in us getting double charged for EVERYTHING! I don't know about this place. If we come back to Branson, wouldn't not stay here. We were a party of 12, 6 adults and 6 kids under 15. We all can't wait to go back. The kids all had plenty of room in the bunkbeds and the adults rested well too. The firepits, heated pool, hot tub, cozy lodge with games, and fireplaces kept us all entertained. Drinks for adults and kids were available, including cute little smore packets. It was just off the strip but close to everything. I would like to see them update the breakfast with some healthier options, but it was free, clean, and offered plenty of room for multiple guests while still keeping the same vibe. They should be around for many years to come. You will want to be there for more than one night. read more

I am on hospice and I come her every couple months to clear my head and get away from all the medical equipment and just depression at home. I'm always greeted with smiles and a down home atmosphere and if I could afford it I'd truly stay a week at a time. The girls are so nice and check in and out I'd ssi super easy. The rooms are super cozy and the amenities and fire pits are amazing. The hot tubs face the creek and have a privacy fence around them and are so warm and welcoming! Oh! We visited this new "boutique" style resort on their opening weekend and it's a solid 3 stars. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating upon arrival; however, there are still lots of kinks to work out at this location. I am giving them a little grace since we were part of the first group to arrive on 6/30/23. Here are my thoughts: 1. Lovely main lobby that was beautifully decorated. You felt as though you were stepping into a higher end rustic lodge. Coffee bar in the main lobby, games, grab and go snacks and a communal dining area. 2. Location is great, next door to the Fall Creek and Danna's BBQ/Burger restaurant. You are able to literally walk from your room to either of these dining options. Not too far from main area of Branson but also located where you can take alternate routes to avoid the heavy traffic. 3. Rooms are small. And DARK. Not a lot lights in the room. Small beside lights that really were not even bright enough to read bedside. We decided it was meant to add to the rustic ambiance feel and intention of this resort. W e were moved to the second floor because the first floor rooms (which are intended for pet owners) was not completed upon checkin. Easy flight up and down, but can be an issue for those with mobility issues. Be mindful of the extra cost to be on the ground floor. Room still smelled of paint since they were recently renovated. Beds are comfy, lovely higher end toiletries. Small shower areas. Very much a motel type set up. TVS were not set up to use, AC was either too hot or too cold. The rooms are not sound proof at all or we just had super loud neighbors above us and beside us. Made for an interesting last two nights since we heard their conversations and foot stomping all night. We would have addressed that but decided not to do so. 3. Pool area is smaller but very cute. We used the pool every day and enjoyed sitting by the creek listening to the live band for their opening weekend. Wine and beer was provided for their opening weekend but we were told it will cost future guests once they get their liquor license. Overall, I am not sure we would put this location at the top of our list to stay again considering the price point for what you get. There is no breakfast option nor in room coffee maker so we bought coffee in the lobby which was fancy artisanal coffee. My husband and I just wanted a regular cup of coffee to start our day and disliked the fact we had to pay for it. Their past bc ries are delicious and we enjoyed them bc we were givien a food and beverage credit during our stay which was quickly used the first morning. Branson is a family friendly vacation spot and I feel as though this resort should consider offering a continental breakfast option for the price point of the room. I will say the GM was quick to adjust our final bill bc not all of the amenities listed on their website were available for use. There is a $12 daily resort fee we were not aware of when we booked the room. It was disclosed when we were instructed to checkin online. The resort fee was waived by the GM since I pointed out the promised amenities (cedar hot tub) were not open. Again, this is a solid 3 star resort. Cute concept that has potential. I just don't feel there is a lot of value behind what they are asking per night. Maybe give this resort a few more months to be truly up and running. Just not ready for prime time in my opinion. read more

We loved our stay at The Ozarker Lodge! We stayed in the Ozarker Suite and it was perfect for our family of 5. The pool, hot tubs and play area in the back were a great! Our kids loved all the fun board games in the lobby and the s'mores kits we used on the fire pit! The staff was friendly and welcoming. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, but they did give us tokens for daily coffee that was delicious. The different snack & food options to buy were all yummy! It's close to everything, which was nice. We definitely recommend this stay to anyone in Branson and will be back! read more

I stayed at this location for one night. I booked through Expedia so that I could use my Expedia OneKey Cash. No issues booking with Expedia. When checking in apparently the front desk agent charged my card instead of charging the digital card for Expedia so I had posted charges from both Expedia and The Ozarker Lodge for my stay. I phoned The Ozarker to let them know the issue on Monday. The front desk agent who helped me couldn't fix the issue so I was transferred to the General Manager's voicemail to leave a voicemail for a call back. By Friday, I had yet to receive a call back from the manager. I had to call back in at 9 am and was told that they were sorry but they still have to check with the General Manager and would call me back. By 4 pm, I had yet to receive a call back so I called back in. I was told that General Manager had completed the refund. That refund has yet to be seen in my account so I'll update to let everyone know. I am just completely appalled by the awful customer service that I experienced with this hotel. They clearly don't care enough about their customers. The fact that the General Manager (Sheldon) couldn't return my phone call to correct a guest issue should tell you enough. There was no offer of apology and absolutely no empathy for the issue. The stay was alright, the bed was nice, the breakfast was, well, much to be desired. Kick up the customer service skills or you won't be lasting long in business. So sad this ended this way. read more

If you're looking for a good vacation spot for your family or just yourself, this is not the place to stay. Its about 50% complete. No staff after 4pm. No cedar "hot" tubs, no bunk beds rooms, and you're looking at 240 a night. No chairs for fire pits. Managment does not get back to you if you have a problem. Opened this place bc it seems they were behind opening, but opened anyways. My suggestion, don't come back till next week. Im so disappointed with my stay here. As the staff was rude. Parker i believe his name was, was the best of them all. Everyone else seemed like a bag of excuses instead of being honest about what is available.
