They had a code blue almost immediately after we got there so I tried to give grace. My husband was placed on machines and an IV started . They ran cardiac labs and his troponin levels were fine and EKG and he had elevated BP the whole time. He has extensive cardiac family history on both sides . We were discharged after they gave Zofran and morphine saying it wasn't cardiac related it was just high BP. When I questioned this I was told it's high BP not cardiac, I'm not sure when we stopped treating high BP as a cardiac issue but ok. I questioned if there was anything else they could do like possibly CT was told no to go home and take BP meds. At DC my husband was still having active chest pain andhis BP was 155/106. We got in with the cardiologist as recommended and awaiting further testing. So for almost 2 weeks my husband has continued to have chest pain but refuses to go to another ER as the last one did nothing for him.

I went to see Dr. O'Laire and was pleasantly surprised at everything his clinic offers. I've been to a different chiropractor locally many years ago, and he only popped my body and that was it. Dr. O'Laire has a whole procedure. Here's how my first visit went: After checking in and filling out papers, I watched a very short video of all the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. Afterwards, I had X-rays taken of my neck and back. Next was the dimly-lit stim room, where I sat in a heated massage chair for 10 minutes while receiving electric stimulation in the spots that were giving me issues. After that was an ultrasound wand on my neck to help loosen and relax the muscles more, I guess. Then lastly, into the adjustment room where he snap crackle popped me. I could already feel a difference before I even left. Follow-up visits were weekly, and they weren't like the initial visit. It was just the relaxing stim room chairs and then adjustments. His techs showed me exercises to do at home to help get the curve back in my neck. His staff is great. Alyssa is the absolute sweetest, Nancy makes the best jokes, and Kaylee just makes you feel comfortable all around (although I think she's a floater, not a full time, in-house employee.) If you need adjusting, I highly recommend it. My husband started recently going for issues with his shoulder. He is going to be trying the acupuncture soon. Yes, they do that there. There is also a lady who does Botox, and there is A Touch of Serenity (massage therapist) in his building as well. Honestly, a one-stop shop for physical wellness.

He was rude, insulted my integrity as a legal assistant with great knowledge of my conditions.. He did not ask to see my scar to examine any current conditions, but rather to prove I had had those SMAS surgeries.. Then he commenced to argue with me that the surgeon ever e even existed.. Still I have the MALS getting worse and causing severe emergency room attacks.. By the grace of God I was sent to a real vascular surgeon Dr. Michael Do.. They took the batch of typical X-rays and the next thing the dentist came in and suggested the removal of a tooth next to a dental implant. This is the first dentist I know that has ever suggested not saving a tooth. I contacted my old dentist from another state who took a look at my X-rays they had on file from just a couple months ago and he didn't see the logic. Furthermore, he advised that removing a tooth next to an implant actually causes more harm than good. Added to the insult, the dentist suggested the complete replacement of a perfectly good crown on the implant...a procedure which is NOT covered by insurance vs a "repair" which is covered. I guess some dentists see a couple of implants and think they can get more $$. I have had a lot of dental work done due to an accident so I know probably more about dentists than I care to admit. So, my best advice is to shop around...not all dentists are created equal. Even though dental insurance is pretty crappy, most dentists understand and work with insurance companies. Save your money and shop around and don't ever go to a dentist that suggest replacing perfectly good dental work just to get an extra dollar.

As the primary care Dr they are the only ones who can put the referral in. I disagreed with this statement and it finally came out it's because it was diagnosed in urgent care and they "don't trust urgent cares". How can you not trust other Doctors and radiologists and want me to use up resources in the emergency room Instead? Then to tell me tricare won't pay for it if they do? I know that my child had broken a bone before and we went to urgent care and then called our primary in GA and they put a referral in immediately. Instead wanting me to come in for another appointment with them to go to another facility to get an X-ray (because they don't have X-ray services) then get a referral. I refused as that would bill my insurance twice for the same thing and cause delays in care for my child with a broken bone. The pediatrician put the referral in (reluctantly), But they coded it as routine for ankle swelling and pain. Not as urgent and that there is a fracture. Then called me the next day while I was talking to the insurance company about 30 min after they submitted the referral to let me know it wasn't approved yet. (Pettiness has no place in a pediatric office)
