Updated: 3/10/2026 Read the latest at the end of my review…read more I have an appointment for a MRI on Saturday Feb 21st. My new doctor thinks I may have deeper issues than just trigger finger. I've already seen him once since my ordeal at The Orthopedic Group. They did an x-ray and did a short evaluation of my finger after a lengthy consultation about what I had to endure prior. I go for a MRI to determine whether something more serious and severe is going on with my finger. My new doctor thinks it might be a fluid situation possibly. But he wants to make sure by means of the MRI imaging. This is what I've been needing and hoping and praying for. I just feel like the orthopedic group or at least the doctor I had didn't care about me and my way of life or occupation. It felt like a hurry up and get him out of here thing looking back on it. Not much care or thoroughness was taken because I was paying out of pocket instead of insurance. The orthopedic doctor I'm seeing now has done two prior surgeries on the same left hand and he did a very good job. That's why I've decided to go back to him. Also because I just finally got my Medicare insurance started this Feb 2026. I only went to the orthopedic group because of payment plans, biggest mistake of my life to say the least. In addition to this post I have to say that I truly am not trying to put down the orthopedic group. It's the fact that I had a really bad experience there. Many other people love that place but for me it was not good. Dr. Glenzer was my doctor at the orthopedic group and his personality just seemed a bit more in a hurry rather than get it right. At least for me, that's my take on him. I do wish all that go there the very best of luck however. My new and former doctor is very thorough and listens to my concerns very carefully. He's done carpal tunnel surgery and trigger thumb surgery for me which were very successful. He also did a steroid shot injection back years ago on my right thumb which did wonders. The only other thing I might say about the orthopedic group is that after Dr. Glenzer had agreed to do a free incision surgery but I was billed afterwards a small amount. They also required me to pay for the office visit the day of the free surgery. This feels like , pay us for screwing up your finger with a botched needle procedure. Totally unacceptable!!! If it had gone successfully I would have had no problem but the second procedure needle surgery was just bad ! I feel very let down by that establishment personally. Good luck to you if you choose to go to the orthopedic group establishment practice. After my MRI results it's been determined by my new orthopedic doctor that I have lots of scar tissue. My question to the Orthopedic Group is why wasn't the scar tissue removed at the time of the follow up free surgery? I also have some fluid buildup! I'm very angry about how Dr. Glenzer took care or not of me and the surgery. It felt like I was not a priority or a concern. He agreed to do the following up surgery after all my pain and frustrations. Now I'm getting billing statements from the orthopedic group. I have a voicemail saved of his call to me telling me that he wanted to make things right with me and agreeing to do the follow up surgery for free. I was also charged an office fee the day I went there for the follow up surgery. As a guitarist that depends on my fingers to make income this is just not acceptable. Total disregard and respect to me and my profession is what I'm feeling. I now have to go through some grueling physical therapy to try and get back to some sort of normal. My new orthopedic doctor says he could go back into the surgery process to remove scar tissue buildup and possible fluid but he wants that to be a last option. I for one will never go back to the orthopedic group for anything. The whole experience with them and Dr Glenzer has been nothing short of a nightmare for me.

Never thought I'd take the time to commend and recommend a physician in this day and age but here…read moregoes. I have never been so pleased and impressed and also "cared for" and about. I hurt my knee earlier this week and by this am could hardly walk. I have two trips coming up and feared having to cancel them. I emailed before the office opened and Lou Anne called me first thing. She and Dr. Todd's nurse worked me in. The entire staff....front desk, X-ray dept (special for them) nurses, big needle guy and Dr. Todd.....AMAZING!!! He's conservative in approach and passionate and of course extremely knowledgeable and confident about what he does. Patient to explain even though they were slammed with other patients in addition to being "on call". So if you have any orthopedic issues....don't hesitate to call them for an appointment.

Today is tuesday september first. I had my first appointment last tuesday at nine a m. After being…read morethere, a total of an hour and forty five minutes. And only finding myself in the line for x ray which wasn't moving. I left. On my way out, I made an appointment to come back today. I waited in the lobby over thirty minutes before being called back to x ray where I waited another ten or fifteen minutes. I was then taken into a room where a nurse practitioner came in. And she clearly had no idea why I was there exactly. She was focused on my spinal x. Ray, which has nothing to do with where my pain is or what is causing it. She pushed and pulled on my legs and feet, but never offered to touch or examine the area of the problem. It became more and more clear. She just wasn't listening to me at all. After twenty five more minutes, doctor hicks finally came in. And at least he checked the immediate area where the pain is but still stuck to the spinal issue and wanted me to get an mri. We even went over my CT. Photos together and then he talked about giving me a shot in my spine after the mri. I'm not a medical person, but I know enough. That my spine is not causing the soft tissue problem. I'm having nowhere near. I told him I didn't see any reason for the. M r I and he ordered his assistant to schedule it. Anyway, so she walked me out. Explaining the process to me, and I just nodded and left. I won't be letting them bill. My insurance for any more waste of time, including the. M r I or any follow ups. This was horrible service and treatment two weeks in a row.

Services include: Neck & Back Surgery Minimally-Invasive Spine Surgery, Hip & Knee Surgery, Anterior Hip Replacement, Hand, Elbow & Shoulder Services, Shoulder Surgery, Foot & Ankle Surgery, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, On-Site MRI & Digital X-Ray, and more. In addition you can get fitted for braces, and other prosthetics here. I also appreciate that and texting with assistants with questions or appointments or any care related issues is a big plus and those secure communications are usually answered very promptly.  Bottom line: They have up to date technology to interface with patients, great communications and a professional staff.
