No other Orthopedic surgeon would touch my husband because of the extent of his injuries. They all said he would loose his foot. After our first visit, Dr. Weiland had more than one plan/option and none of them were amputation. He has the most wonderful fun bedside manner. Always made my husband comfortabel and explained everything. Answered all our questions. Gave us his personal cell# if we even had any questions or concerns outside of office visits. First off someone doesn't know how to handle insurance. They charged me twice what another doctor charged me in the same area. They said I was responsible for the first $600! I showed them my policy and they could care less. They wanted the money now. I could settle with the insurance company later. ( I should have left but we waited over a month to see this doctor). I have problems walking and my husband goes with me everywhere. Well the doctor won't let ANYONE but the patient back to see him. No one else is like this. All I got from the doctor was that my surgeon from four years ago did a great job. And there was nothing at all he could do to help me. He was afraid of ANY type surgery because of the medication I'm on. I think he is more into cutting toenails and selling shoe inserts. I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone.
