Love Rainbow Cone! Nearly every time we visit the Chicago area, we look for a Rainbow Cone. Love, love the stack of ice cream flavors on a cone! If you've never had a Rainbow Cone, it's a "must try" item.

Visited during a work trip to Chicago. The ice cream was delicious. Like the different flavors. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I've always loved the cone and I'm so glad they've opened up so many more stores. Today we had the cake for my birthday. OUTSTANDING! #iraeats #iraeats1

My son had a craving for a rainbow cone, so we headed to Buona Beef. He really liked it and I wish I got one, but it has a pistachio layer, which I can't have, since I have a tree nut allergy. Outdoor seating area was modestly sized, with about 5 tables. A great way to spend a nice warm summer day. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located right next to the kiosk, the bathroom was relatively clean. Urinals were in working order, and a decent experience. Sit or squat? Squat.

    $12.89/quart, and yum yum.

We're delighted to have this Rainbow Cone franchise as close as it is to Park Ridge. When are you coming to Park Ridge, the bestest suburb in all of Chicagoland lol ?? It's ight, this is plenty close. We dropped in to buy a gift card for our grand-darlings. I'm 200% sure they will enjoy these delectable Rainbow Cones, as much as I do. Actually, I'm even more sure as I know they have already had and enjoyed before. Nicolle was the chipper attendant on duty helping us out. Thank you!

I was so excited to find a Rainbow Cone in Mr Prospect. Stopped in for an original and I was sooo happy.

Beyond disappointing - Rainbow Cone is one of my favorites, but tonight, when I ordered a quart of ice cream, my family and I found a large hair in the container - mixed in with the orange sherbet. Totally disgusting and unacceptable. I guess the employees don't contain their hair when dealing with food. I'm glad we looked at the tub before scooping; unfortunately we threw it all away. What a waste! To add insult to injury, I called Door Dash and they refused to issue a refund - instead saying they're escalating it to their "health department", which means I'll never hear from them again.

I drove by and happen to see a new "Original Rainbow Cone!" The fam and I stopped in and as always never fails.. We all loved it! Delicious and it hit the spot! This place opened inside the Buona Beef 2 weeks ago. Perfect combo. Right after your dinner, what can be better than ice cream! Not just any ice cream! A Rainbow Cone! Need I say more?

Something for everyone! Ample parking lot AND a drive thru window! Satisfying portion sizes. The bad: if you snooze, you'll lose on the donut variety, so plan accordingly! I actually got up mid meal to purchase our donuts bc several customers came in between the time we arrived and the time we would've been ready for dessert. You can catch me snoozing at 6am, but not at donut o'clock! The ugly: the cream in the Boston cream donut used to be (atleast a couple years ago, at another location) reminiscent of a true vanilla, pastry cream or custard, but this Boston cream was an IMPOSTER! The cream inside was a slightly greasy, artificial tasting whipped topping that was atrocious. My 7yo rejected the French twist donut she picked bc it was a bit dried out and tasted nutty for some reason. Maybe it was touching other donuts in the process of being made or had some kind of cross contamination. I don't mind nuts, but the staling texture was off putting. This visit didn't live up to the Niles location, and can't wait until the little Glenview shop reopens.

I dodged traffic on Arlington Heights Road to park at the lot across the street so I was committed to buy. I placed my order at the kiosk. There was an option to tip and stupid me, I tipped! Waited for someone to come out to greet me or pack my order. I was the only person in the store. There was plenty of seating, the tabletops were a little dirty, the floor had crumbs, but nothing gross. Approx. 5 mins later a girl popped out of the back wearing a T-shirt, called my name (yes - there was still no other customer in the store) handed me a box, and didn't say anything else. I asked her for a bag so I wouldn't lose my mochi donuts as I dodged traffic on AH back to my car. She bagged up my box and handed it to me. There was no hello, no thank you, no have a good day, not a sound except for my name. For about $40 a DOZEN (after tax), I would have expected some sort of customer service. I really hope this was a one off, not the normal for business. The donuts were good. They were fresh and chewy. The flavors popped and were a nice treat. However, for the cost and lack of customer care, I'm going to keep looking for another mochidonut location. At almost $4 for a donut, come out and say HI! The owner needs to do better at training employees.

The butter cookies are $33 a lb. Ouch! As soon as you take a bite they fall apart and crumble everywhere. The kids didn't like the taste and didn't eat any of them, a waste of $12. No prices anywhere other than the boxed goods or coffee signs. 4% fee for using a credit card which I get, but have it posted better. Couple small signs I caught over by the fresh stuff saying price tags reflect cash price, but yet didn't see prices anywhere other than on shelves by boxed stuff. Have prices posted. French silk pie was very thick and not very chocolaty. No one really cared for it, def would not get again. I looked back at receipt after I left and see a random charge for "open retail" for $3.12, no clue what that is. So was over charged for something I didn't get.

We sampled a couple different chocolate pieces and as far as I can tell, they were good. Since our main purpose of the visit was for donuts, we went ahead and orderes half dozen "premium" donuts.
