As a tourist from the Midwest, I want to first start with the decor. The absolute homage to the…read more1920s is beautifully reflected in the decor. The tile on the floor to the sconces hanging from the walls. The bar is a beautiful scene for a backdrop for photos, but more importantly than any of that is the service provided. We specifically want to mention included Daniel. Daniel was the most hospitable, the most gracious and absolutely the most accommodating staff we have encountered in our trip to New York so far. Daniel made excellent choices and actually helped to custom craft drinks to our particular taste. In addition Daniel provided excellent recommendations for heavy snacking plate sharing and enjoying the overall experience.

There's no comparison to my favorite restaurant Jerk and Jambalaya in Rehoboth Beach . The restaurant and Sintelle Taylor are excellent, excellent, excellent and did I say excellent. The food speaks for itself. The oxtails, the Mac and cheese, the greens the corn bread. Yes honey I will travel for great food. Listen up y'all restaurants, I will no longer be mistreated by bad and then asked for a tip. Jerk Jambalaya I support you and thank you for all you do. The standard has been raised . God bless you and your restaurant and team. Beautiful restaurant. Tell them Ms. Monique sent you.

Came here for a business lunch at 11am. They seated us downstairs and it was so much quieter. I'd…read moreopt for this next time if I have a choice for business. The whipped ricotta was great, a good balance of sweet and even some spice on tasty bread. The mushroom pizza was tasty as well. I got the heritage pork chop, and it felt a little magical. I've only had a couple of times enjoying pork chops - this one seems like it should be tough, but somehow it works? I don't know how to explain it. The sausage and sauce somehow complemented the dish. I got a side of corn, which was not heavy at all, despite the macaroons. Not creamed corn at all; this was tasty too although not a must get. Finally, got the tiramisu again and despite the 4 of us sharing, there were still leftovers. I forgot how good it is here - full espresso flavor and the cream has more flavor and fullness.

We arrived at 5:30pm on a weekday for our reservation and to my surprise, almost every table was taken! They have a few locations throughout the city but the menus are more or less the same. I started with a Hugo Spritz which was light & refreshing but not the best I've had. We shared a Margherita Neopolitan Style Pizza which had a super thin & tender crust, fresh tomatoes and basil, and delicious cheese. Pretty solid start! The Whipped Ricotta was somehow better and I absolutely loved the creaminess of the ricotta along with the truffle honey. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts were charred beautifully and was a nice vegetable to have on the table. Even the Zucchini Fries were so well-made! They could be "prettier" but the flavor and crunch is definitely there. The rigatoni was so fantastic but the chicken parm itself could have been crispier and more seasoned. We ended with the Tiramisu for Two which is easily feeds 4 people. This is an absolute must to end the meal! I can see why this spot is so popular and glad I finally got to pop my LPB cherry!
