Pretty good and fast service. We had a nail in the tire and were losing air fast as we left the food land. A quick Internet search was leading me to Goodyear which was 45 mins away, so started driving and stumbled on this Auto Shop sign next to Aloha Shrimp. Googled more and found they do work on tires too so quickly turned around. It's a small sign which you won't notice unless you are looking for it. The lady at the service desk was pretty nice and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for getting our tire fixed. The mechanic got us back on the road in 15 mins. read more

Organic Mechanic is definitely good business and good people, They always seem to be my angels in disguise. They give you the feeling of being family and they watch out for you, like big brothers do. They dont rip you off, they not anal and they talk to you respectfully. They explain whats wrong, how we can fix it and they give you an honest price but yet bend a little to try and help you out. My main mechanic I've been going to is in town so I wanted to try this one since it was close to home. We took our car once before and wasn't disappointed so I thought why not give it a try plus it's more convenient to be closer to home. My car was in the shop for almost or around 3 weeks when we were fixing an oil leak. They were trying to get a part from the manufacturer so that was taking a while. I had to keep calling in to find out status of repairs. At one point I called and they had mentioned they were waiting for the yes so that they could move forward with the work. So, your meaning to tell me if I didn't call to follow up my car would've been sitting until someone called me to say yes? :/ that was the beginning of issues that were to occur. I don't want to discredit the mechanic because he did eventually fix our car but the miscommunication and inconvenience of not having my family car for that long just felt like it could've been avoided. Once it was fixed we picked it up and a week later the oil gauge starts dropping to empty and the cars lights are alerting me that my oil pressure is low and to stop the engine. I can't drive more than 10mins without my car alerting me. So I call the mechanic and they say to bring it in. It's done in a day and I'm like wow that was fast. I was thinking redemption? Lol I pay for the service and am on my way. By the time I reach Laie the same thing starts happening. My car starts alerting me that I need to stop my engine because the oil pressure is low. At this point it's pouring and I'm already on my to drop my kids to their different practices and the mechanic closes in 30minutes. I can't take it back so I call them just to let them know and no one answers so I leave a message. I call back in the morning since I didn't get a call back to follow up and they say bring it back. I take it back and I guess it was a lot more complicated than changing a switch which is what they originally had done. My car was in for another week. At this point it was discouraging I've already had my car in their care for almost a month now. Having to come back and forth juggling my baby and finding a ride to get there and everywhere while my car was being fixed was just really inconvenient . Had I gone to my regular mechanic could this have been avoided even with the inconvenience of going back and forth to town? It's a thought that crossed my mind many times as I waited for my car to get fixed. My car is fixed and is working right now because of them point blank and I'll never discredit them for it but the inconvenience is what makes or breaks customer service. If I need service again I'm going to have to really contemplate taking my car back. It's going to be between convenience or promptness? Can't have it all I guess. read more

If i could give negative stars I would. My daughter took her Jeep to get the AC fixed. They charged her $600.00. They said it was workin. She picked it up and the AC still did not work. She took it back to them and they said the'd fix It. They had her car for a week and she had to call over and over again to get them working on it. She finally hot a hold of them and they said it would be another $900.00 to fix. She said no and they would not refund any of the $600.00 they charged her to NOT fix the problem. On the way out they tried to charge her a $300.00 diagnostic fee for the $900.00 quote!!!! These guys are crooks. Don't go!!! read more

The worst service I have ever seen. Myself, my wife, my cousins, and other people I know have been taken advantage of by these guys. They know they are the only mechanic close to Laie, and are not afraid to misdiagnose, charge for parts that don't exist, double charge for items, and call once work has been done to let you know it's going to be more than originally estimated. We had to call multiple times to check to see when it was ready. It took forever to be ready. We asked them to fix the check engine light issue and that same day we drove it off the lot the light started blinking again. We thought maybe they fixed most the issues but now our car stalls way too often after paying $900. We were gonna go back and had an appt scheduled but as we were driving there we just had a rlly bad feeling we were getting ripped off. I don't recommend. read more

My family has brought a few cars to Johnny over the last four years. We used to be very happy with the work, but unfortunately we are not anymore. The business used to feel transparent and friendly, but now I just feel like we're dollar signs. Johnny is the original organic mechanic, but we have not had a car fixed by him in a while. The last two repairs were done by younger less experienced mechanics. Some of the comments of the staff have made me very uncomfortable.We gave this new expanded business a chance, but the last time we took the car in for new break pads, they were screeching after a week. I was going to have someone else bring it back because I didn't want to go back there, but I decided to cut my losses and just went to firestone. So I went here twice because I live in Laie. The first time I went here I was able to get my safety check. It went smoothly. The second time I came here was 3 weeks ago for my oil. It took an hour to get my oil changed even with an appointment. I waited 20 minutes more to get my car keys. I called a week later because I noticed they didn't reset my check car engine light. They said they would call me back but they didn't. I tried calling them back and the voicemail said they will be closed for a week. Stilling waiting to get my "check engine" light to reset. Although they are closer, I think I would rather drive to town instead. read more

Stopped in late on Friday afternoon. They were able to get me in for a safety check! They normally take appts for safety checks between 9-12 only but said they may have time towards the end of the day and to stop by to check. Very professional and courteous. I had them change my starter & oil and they totally forgot to put back the screws for the plastic cover under the engine. Every time I would go on a speed bump it would make a screeching sound (which was the plastic). I had my friend check it out and the plastic cover was actually scratching my belt which could have ruined a lot of things in the car. I had another friend that changed their oil and they didn't put back the cap on the bottom of the oil tank so their car smoked out and got stuck in town. They seem professional at first but their work does not show it. They charge a lot as well for labor ($100/hour). I would recommend going somewhere else that doesn't do half ass jobs like them. read more

Bought a used car from them for our college student daughter. Paid $3000 for it. It broke down the next day. They took it back, had it for 6 weeks. Upon getting it back, it ran for 2 weeks and broke down again. Now needs $4000 in repairs to get it running again. We are out $3000..on a car that ran for 2 weeks. I don't know how they can disregard $3000 and not do a thing to make it right, but in Iowa, where we are from, $3000 is a lot of money. Very disappointed in the entire process from this business and feel very angry and ripped off. Starting the car buying process again..this time taking out a loan, as the $3000 was my daughter's money she saved to purchase a car in Hawaii. Nothing to show for it.
