We started with a Pomegranate Bellini and vodka and sprite, with Shrimp Lejon. The shrimp were huge wrapped in delicious, crispy bacon with a dill horseradish sauce. This was a good start. Next we tried the Better Cheddar since they are known for that. Wow, it was cheese and smoke and figs and pear and nuts and crispy flat bread. So many fantastic flavors! I ordered the Grilled Yellowtail Special, and RJ had the NY Strip Special. Mine was so beautiful, , cooked perfectly, with asparagus and lumps of crab. RJ's steak melted in his mouth. That happen but it's better if the server tells you up front what they are out of. I ended up still getting the risotto with double shrimp instead of both proteins and my friend got the short rib. She said the short rib was very tender. My food was good too. I had the bourbon mule to drink and it was too sweet for my tastes. The ambience was ok but I sort of got a negative vibe from the 30+ minute wait for a server who was inches away from us and didn't notice we weren't being served.
