We hosted a graduation celebration for my daughter at this location. It is unfortunate to say that the venue set up was horribly organized. This plan has been settled since November of 2025, and had the event in May 2026. I stayed in contact regarding the event and made sure things were ready for the day. We walked in and the floors had trash on them. There was no water jug available for guests and the bartender was gone half the time so water was hardly available. The bathrooms were without soap or paper towels. We had 95 guests at our party, and the food was extremely less served in small bowls that they had to keep refilling which took at least 10 minutes every time. When utensils ran out, they were never refilled. Gulab jamun dessert was in a small bowl that would not have covered hardly anyone. For 95 people, this is not how an event should be held. It very much felt like there was no cook at the event since they were warming up food the whole time and not actively making food. What makes this very upsetting and embarrassing is that this was planned so far in advance that we were looking to forward to a well organized event. There was one bartender who was coming and going from the bar so half of our guests were not served appropriately. When we tried to address this the next day with the owner, Mamta, she blamed our budget which was negotiated with them 6 months in advance and well understood by them. She also hung up the phone on us in the middle of our conversation regarding our concerns. I would not recommend this venue to anyone who prioritizes their guests having a well rounded evening filled with good service and an abundance of food. (sorry for late review) My friends and I went to Opulent on their 1st Saturday night open. We loved the ambiance in the dining room and the lounge. The lounge wasn't open that night, but they allowed us to check it out. There's also a private vip room. Because they recently opened, they struggled with a few things like drinks and orders, but the waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and fixed every issue that we had. They even comped anything that there was a problem with, so excellent customer service. The food was very good and we will definitely be returning! read more

I wanted to try this place out as the menu looked interesting. I'm always looking for something new. First red flag should have been there was no one else eating at the restaurant. The actual restaurant itself was beautiful but the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the hummus and crab cakes. The hummus had cheddar cheese on top of it(it was supposed to be feta). The crab cakes were extremely burnt and had a piece of Swiss cheese on them. The whole experience was extremely bizarre. I will not be going back here. read more

Gave my husband a surprise dinner party here in the rain forest private room. The ambiance was great! We had a party of 20 and everyone enjoyed it. The waitress's & staff were friendly & accommodating. The DJ rocked!! The food was ok, but they ran out of lambchops.(bummer). Overall, for them being new, I would recommend. I'm not sure how they are even still in business. We really looked forward to trying this place after it sat so long after Cafe Bellisimo and the Indian restaurant closed. First experience was last November on a Thursday night. Place was empty. Menu very limited. No service. We walked out. Tried it again last night as a buddy's band was playing. If I could give a negative number zi would. No beers on tap, bartender too busy on her phone, only had a few bottled beers in stock (like 3 yuenglings, 4 Mordellos, etc) beer was $7 a bottle and skunks. Tried the Gobi Manchurian and was bland and mushy. Barely edible. To top things off on this horrible experience (I think that's the most customers ever in that place at 35) I was presented the bill on a screen that just showed the total. Server asked for a cash tip. When I got home I looked at the emailed receipt and saw they had even added an 18% "service charge" that wasn't listed on the screen. Unbelievable. I called the Manager Vic 302-588-2740 to discuss the experience. He could care less. Avoid this place!!! read more

Amazing food, very tasty. We had Mediterranean platter(hummus & pita were fresh & great), Hot dry pepper Lamb was crunchy, spicy and tasty and Calamari fritters made to perfection. The lamb was really awesome, never could find this dish anywhere else! The waiter Bunny was very attentive and friendly. Ambiance was great, but not many people on a weekday. We were a group of seven and We had the opulent sampler, Chilli cottage cheese, cauliflower bites, hot and sour soup, noodles, fried rice, Naan and butter paneer. Everything tasted good. The ambiance is beautiful and chic. The service is bad though as being a Saturday night and still only one person was there to service everyone. read more

My wife noticed that the restaurant was sitting on a corner and didn't like the way it looked outside but, I figured maybe it would exactly be what I saw on their website inside. We walked in and we didn't even sit down! It looked very "club like", the host was trying seat us at the bar, everyone was looking at us because I guess we were overdressed (thought this restaurant was elegant), one customer warns us about the seats and says "be careful seating down because the chairs are wobbly ". My wife noticed the lounge and there was hardly anyone in there ‍, no ambiance at all, just looked small and dingy. If I'm taking my wife out anywhere, it's going to be nice and elegant and this was not it! We walked right back out the door as my wife says to the waitress "we're done for the night ". Danielle was our server, and she was knowledgeable, attentive and all around amazing! The restaurant is luxuriously designed, and the food was nothing short of incredible! I had kebabs and lollypop chicken, and both were a hit. My wife had the butter chicken and also said it was amongst the best she had. We have eaten in many Indian places across the USA. Out 3 kids had food from the kid's menu and were thoroughly satisfied. Needless to say, from the food to the service everything was remarkable, and we will definitely be coming back! read more

Hidden gem in Wilmington. The food was delicious. The service was beyond nice. The atmosphere is nice. The Vindaloo and Korna was authentic and had the perfect amount of heat and flair. Our first experience here was drinks and an appetizer. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by staff. T gave us the tour of this beautiful restaurant and lounge. We ended up sitting at the little bar in the rainforest room (I think that's what it's called.) T was also our bartender and treated us very warmly. We enjoyed our martinis and tried the samosa appetizers which were delicious. Based on this experience we came back for dinner a few weeks later. Danielle was our server and she also treated us very warmly. We met her and had a nice conversation with her when we were sitting at the bar the first time and she remembered us which was nice. They had a nice bottle of Cabernet at a very reasonable price which we enjoyed. We shared the Opulent sampler which we thought was priced a bit high but was really delicious. My partner enjoyed the chicken vindaloo and I loved my paneer which was in a red thick butter sauce. The naan was also delicious. This area does not have great Indian restaurants so having these delicious dishes was a real treat. We had delayed coming here for so long and decided to try it for happy hour the first time because of all the strange and negative reviews but the staff, food and atmosphere here made us want to come back for more which we will. A few things we want to point out... First -expand the wine list. They only had two reds and they were out of the one which was annoying. We did appreciate the prices though and liked that it was a bottle that we never had before and not the typical crap other restaurants carry it over the top prices. Next, curious to know why they don't have the little bar stocked. When we were there the first time for happy hour, our bartender had to go to the other side of the restaurant to make our drinks. It's just very strange to us. Also, the owners were there that evening and didn't once come into the dining room to greet the three tables that there. We did see the one in the lounge talking with people but it would have been nice if she had come to the dining room. The place was not at all crowded which makes me worry because I would love this place to survive. It's just so different and so yummy and so beautiful in there. The dining scene in Delaware is so boring and narrow. This restaurant is so unique and delicious so please show them some love. read more
