I like that there's a good slope, especially on the lawn, so that short people like me can see pretty easily. I can't speak to the food or drink quality since I've never gotten any here, but I will say that there is a nice setup of local places outside the stage area. I've heard the food prices are reasonable, and if you want to enjoy some live music while waiting for your show, there's a smaller stage out there that usually hosts a band prior to the show.

I've seen two shows here and I really like this medium sized venue. Last summer I had covered…read moreseating for the Indigo Girls with Melissa Etheridge, and it was amazing. The staff is friendly, and the parking area isn't too much of a walk from the venue. The slope of the seating could be better, as my 5' daughter and my 5'5" self found it hard to see over the heads of the people in front of us. Sound was good, and the crowd for this event was really nice as well. A few days ago my daughter and I went back for James Taylor and sat on the lawn. We rented lawn chairs for $10 each, and it was the way to go! I bout the tickets for $30 each during Live Nation week back in the spring, add on $10 for a lawn chair and $10 for parking, and we saw a great show for less than $50 per person. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the lawn - everyone was super relaxed and the view was great on the tv screen, and I could see the stage as well. Love that this venue is so clean, has games such as corn hole, etc, and has a good variety of food/drink. Prices are expensive, but all concert venues seem to be priced similarly. It did take awhile to get out of the parking lot after the show, but not nearly as bad as Xfinity in Mansfield, MA. I'll be back again in a few weeks for Paul Simon!

This classic old school space was renovated with updated hardwood flooring, sea green painted walls and exposed brick walls and wood walls behind the bar. The full service bar with seating and open kitchen area is on the left side section and the front window music stage and table seating is on the right side section. The bar offers 8 beers on draft, bottle/can beers, and wine. The Sleazy Vegan is selling their food truck, last parked at Tideline Public House in Durham and has moved into this permanent brick and mortar location, The Sleazy Vegan at Pembroke City Limits. At the time of this posting, they were offering their abbreviated vegan & plant based food menu including mac & sleaze, nachos, spicy Thai peanut lettuce cups, burgers, sausage hoagie with caramelized onions, hot dog, buffalo chickn' mac & cheese, chickn' burger, and Korean BBQ chickn' burger, and desserts (double choc shake, lemon cream frosty, sleazy frozen no-rita). The prices are moderate here. I stopped by Pembroke City Limits after work try out some vegan eats. I took a seat up at the bar and looked over the abbreviated menu already on the counter. I got a glass of tap ice water (they also offer bottled water) and decided on the SVFT Burger ($14 plus tax) and a side of Sleazy Mac & Cheese ($8 plus tax). My food served in disposable paper products was served in 12 minutes after ordering. The SVFT Burger is their Sleazy Vegan Food Truck Burger which was comprised of a very soft plant burger patty topped lettuce, tomato, onion & sriracha ketchup on an enriched white hamburger roll. The Sleazy Mac & Cheese had soft cavatappi pasta in a semi tangy cheese sauce (oat milk). The food was quite good for being vegan. The check was shown on a portable digital Square payment device, which came out to $23,87 with tax and before tip. There was also a local band setting up for a 6 pm live show near the front window. The Sleazy Vegan at Pembroke City Limits fills the void in the Concord area for prepared vegan and plant based foods in a fixed location. When Col's Kitchen in Concord closed, my vegan boss was really bummed out and has to travel to Green Beautiful in Manchester on the weekends during the day for prepared vegan food. My boss will be so thrilled to stop into this new place close to the office for dinner, drinks, and live music. I will be stopping by again when their menu is expanded and I can catch some live music too.

Called in and ordered the rueben (2) and Chocolate cream pie. Got there and nobody said hello for the first 3-4 minutes which seems long. Standing by the food area facing the bar, and no one said I'll be right with you or even acknowledged I was there for another 4-5 minutes. Then the waitress looked at me and said they would be right with me. A few minutes later, bartender said "Are you Bruce?" That ended all conversation until the food was done. Now in fairness, I am a native New Yorker so I have expectations when it comes to NYC food such as a reuben. Disappointed for certain. The bread was double thick marble but could not even taste any rye, toasted so it made it very hard to bite. The meat was cut very thick and it was undercooked; so it was tough to chew. Maybe a 1/4Lb at the most. Had to look to find the swiss cheese. Sauce was good as was the amount and flavor of the sauerkraut. The pie was good. It looks llike a nice place, similar to other bars in the area, but this one has a small stage for entertainment. Will try once more as the burger was written about as much as the reuben. So, I'll let you all know when we go. Update: Just read the description - Not a real reuben as it is made with pastrami not corned beef.

She assigned my friend a seat all the way across the crowded venue. My friend asked if she could pull a chair up and sit down, and the manager told her no. In fact, one of the first things she said to my friend was, "If you're handicapped, how did you get in here?" My friend, who's in her 70s, walks with a cane and was afraid to traverse the venue in the dark, because of trip hazards. She stood on a ramp for 2 HOURS, holding onto a railing. This staff member stood 10 feet behind her. When my friend asked her for her name, she said, "I'm not going to tell you." And when my friend was leaving, this woman called after her, "Goodnight! Thanks for coming!" Little fact for you: my friend was in the music business for 30 years, and handled the biggest clients and their money when women were generally relegated to sex objects. She founded famous music venues! She put up with a lot and deserves your respect. This woman by her web image seems to be general manager. She's definitely someone who can fire people, because another staff member was afraid (!) to help my friend for fear of losing their job. Blue Ocean Music Hall, you need a new general manager. She's an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen and has no empathy, graciousness, professionalism or sense of hospitality. She behaved like a straight up bigot and has no business working with the public. Obviously, she knows this, or she would have offered her name like a professional. Do better.
