These baskets make great gifts. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. On my last visit the manager helped me decide which oil might go best for a new recipe. She was very attentive and helped guide me through the flavor aspects of the various varietal oils.

I liked that there were larger and smaller sized bottles to choose from (small size was 5 oz). They also sell a modest range of dip mixes, mustard, pesto, pasta, and assorted other treats. The addition of the bakery in the same building makes this shop a little different from some of the other gourmet places around here (note that there are several other places in downtown Naperville that specialize in this type of product). Last night, I came here with my friend for a tea tasting class. This is such a cool place! The owner of the shop, Missy, filled each teacup with a really yummy tea called For Her. It was very light and floral. As we sipped the tea, she went over the history of tea and the different types of tea. As she talked about each specific tea, her teammate Lauren went around and poured a sample of the tea in our tasting cups. Missy would talk about the health benefits of each tea and what notes we should be smelling/tasting. She also told us some fun stories of her conference and experiencing the whole tea making process. After the class, we could explore the tea leaves on the shelves and buy them. I got a peach oolong (which was one of the teas we tasted) and Happy Days (another fruity tea). Instead of going else where and paying more for milk, bread, eggs, and so on. They chain the shopping carts together ( it's kinda smart if you think about it) because when it's windy out you don't have rude people not returning carts , leaving them in the parking lot to smash against your car). Or seeing homeless people using the store carts to hold all their stuff. That alone the tax payers pay for it. In order to unlock the carts, you have to have a quarter with you. When your done shopping and you return the cart, you have to chain it back up and you get your quarter back. So bring a quarter! They also don't use paper or plastic shopping bags, so either bring one of your own or they have a shopping cart inside with empty stock boxes you can use and take home to carry your groceries. She made it clear I was the problem. Nothing like spending your hard earned money and being yelled at by the Aldi cashier! Not returning to this Aldi ever.
