They had chicharrons that were a few feet big! To the right of that is an open kitchen. Granted, you're not going to find too many gringos coming in here, so expect a slight language barrier. The cook was really nice. Got 3 tacos $1.50 and a burrito $5. The taqueria was cash only. Tacos were ok overall, not as flavorful as expected, chicken meat was orange, perhaps due to a marinated, and were better than the pork or steak. Burrito was much better, lots of meat pieces and had a mild chili taste to it.

Has a crap ton of stuff to get. The paletas are pretty much like popsicles. Because it was lunch we only got a few. It's got a lot of exotic flavors to choose, and we were again unsure what to order. The children like to take over the place, it seems. Honestly it can get pretty crazy. There's lots of the Mexican favorites, including many that are popular among those with authentic tastes. It's about $5 for paletas. The flavors include blue bubblegum, cantaloupe, cucumber, currant, guacamole hibiscus, kiwi, lime, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, strawberry, and watermelon. It's about $7 for hot eating. There's corn in a cup, corn on the cob, or petrohuates. Makes it good to come to any time of the year, even when it gets cold. There's a lot more cool stuff. Has a pretty interesting concept. It's located in a strip mall on Indian Trail. They have a lot of great products but can be slow helping or whatever.

By the time I parked 5 car lengths down, the line had reached the door. I walk in and it was like a busy street in Morocco well not quite but you get the drift. So I go live on facebook and people start telling me what to get and 'how' to get it. I walk out with 2 large 'elotes' which were amazing. I have only had elotes in chicago before from a city peddler and a couple of places in Aurora. This place blew them all off the face off the galaxy. Better quality cheese I think is the biggest difference. I also had a fresa con crema with granola. This is very sweet but the strawberries were quite tart. The first half of that was very enjoyable. I couldn't get the mangonada this time. But this place is less than a 10 minute drive from my house so I might be back today! Come to Aurora try them. I know one place isn't enough for you to leave the comforts of your corners but there are plenty of places to discover.

You can either get a traditional elote that comes on a stick or you can get your elote in a cup, I chose to get the cup. It was so good, I couldn't even taste the mayo. I also got their nachos. I only got Doritos with melted cheese but I'm pretty sure you can add extra toppings! Even though my nachos were plain they were so good. Especially the melted cheese. It tasted so high quality, much different from your standard melted cheese. If you don't come here for anything else come here for the horchata. They have so many different flavors. Original, mango, strawberry, the list goes on! I got the pina colada- my absolute favorite drink. It was incredible, they even threw in a few cherries. Everything filled me up. I felt like I ate a 3 course meal. I was stuffed, in the best way possible! I definitely have to come back for the banana split, I saw someone order it and I was practically gawking at it when it came out! The menu is vast and you have plenty of options. It's not really a place where you can sit and eat it's more of like a grab and go. Everyone was super friendly. I will definitely be back for more.

Pancho's is one of the many family owned restaurants around here, and is better than most of these. Obviously it's more authentic than fast food. The funny thing is the food here comes out pretty fast it seems. An unassuming place located in a strip mall. It's located next to a few other Mexican owned businesses, of which there are many in these parts. That means any customer should expect authentic quality. Here that's certainly what they have. This isn't Americanized crap thankfully. It's about $12 for a cocktail. The Pancho Salado is made with lime juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice, along with Squirt and tequila. It's about $12 for the Taco Dinner. This is two fried corn tortillas with avocado, cheese which I left off, lettuce, refried beans, and tomatoes. Kind of like a Mexican Pizza, but better. The free chips come with hot authentic salsas, which also go good on tacos and other things. For sure it's one of the many places around here to get authentic cuisine. It's located on New York Street at Union in a strip mall. They're closed Sundays, Mondays, and Saturdays which is weird.
