Cool little spot. I am not an olive oil aficionado but even I can appreciate this store. Wonderful staff and they patiently walked me through all the different options and flavors. I feel educated. Check it out for yourself and this could make a unique gift as well.

Came here with some friends for the first time to grab some lunch. The service was friendly and the food/drinks were all very good. The blood orange mimosa didn't taste much like blood orange but it was still good. The BBQ chicken flat bread was scrumptious!

Tuscan Herb-375ml.

If you try to find out great olive oil and balsamic vinegar for bread dipping, here's the best place to go. I tested some olive oils and balsamic vinegar finally bought back a super flavorful Tuscan Herb olive oil, and a Fig balsamic vinegar. Staff is really friendly and helpful, it's pleasant shopping experience.

This place has been a San Jose staple for years and has been my go-to main supermarket for as long as I can remember. The selection covers everything you could possibly need, from international products to everyday household essentials all under one roof, the kind of variety that makes any other grocery store feel incomplete. What keeps me coming back just as much as the products is the staff. Many of them have been there for years, always friendly, always consistent, always making you feel genuinely welcomed. That kind of familiarity and warmth is something you just cannot put a price on. You come in for groceries and leave feeling like you just visited old friends. This Food Bazaar is a true San Jose international community treasure and deserves every bit of loyalty it has earned over the years. Highly recommend making it your regular stop, you won't regret it

They have amazing selection of spices, meats, breads, produce and more. The shelves are neatly organized. I love the fresh pita bread and lavash that they sell. I found my favorite brand of grape leaves. I also found the pomegranate syrup I needed and the orange blossom water for my Basbousa. They had a nice selection of fillo dough. My favorite brand is the Apollo fillo dough. I got a few boxes of that for my Armenian Paklava. And I couldn't leave without getting some fresh bread. I talked with Eddie, the owner, for a bit. He's so kind and if there's something you can't find, he'll help you get it. It's always a pleasure shopping here. They have the best international food items and excellent customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.

We were sat right away, menus already on the table with a separate daily special menu. Our server asked if we wanted anything tho drink? (Water and lemon please) she walked away and water & lemon were brought to our table. About 5 minutes later she came back and asked if we were ready to order? She didn't ask if we had any questions or even told us about the days specials, she never came by to ask us if we wanted more water (which we did, wifey had to ask her) she didn't ask us if we needed anything or if the food was good (heck she didn't even ask if we wanted dessert!!! I was like what the heck! I wanted the tiramisu, but since she walked away, I said, screw it,) and when I paid the bill she asked me if I wanted a printed receipt? and I said yes " guess what she never gave it to me so I had to go upfront and ask for the printed receipt" (sorry no tip for you) i'm not the type of guy who arbitrarily gives tips just because you believe it's customary. When they don't work for them, I don't give them. " This server either needs to be retrained or the management needs to get their heads out of there You know what, such a shame because the food is excellent. Doppio Zero give me a reason to come back. Great food and bad service = 2 stars " service is just as important as the food" FOOD: 5 Stars I ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the fried calzone, wifey ordered the homemade spinach ravioli. The calamari came within five minutes, they were lightly bartered, crispy and succulent. The red sauce the give you is definitely homemade and has a sweet basil forward flavor "sooo good" The fried calzone honestly shocked me, it was basically a whole pizza folded in half, it was huge! The ricotta cheese was a very nice touch it melded well with the basil. (Creamy rich, decadent.) definitely the best calzone I have ever had. The homemade spinach ravioli with wild mushrooms came with a garlic white sauce. The ravioli melts in your mouth with pure decadence, the flavor is simply out of this world. dessert? We never got a menu and the server, never asked.

The fermentation concept is woven into everything from the beers and botanical mocktails to the food and it actually works incredibly well. The drinks are creative without feeling gimmicky, and the flavors are layered and thoughtful. The food was surprisingly memorable too, especially how vegetable-forward dishes still felt rich and satisfying. The atmosphere has this warm, artsy, almost hidden-gem energy that makes you want to stay for hours. What really stands out is that the place feels intentional. You can tell the owners care deeply about craft, community, and creating an experience instead of just another brewery. Easily one of the coolest and most distinctive food/drink concepts in San Jose right now.

Fox Tale Fermentation is a small place like a Japanese ramen shop. My high school classmate suggestion this place and I thought she was vegetarian. I asked her why this place; she wanted to try it out but she's a meat eater. I'm down to try new places so we went. When we went, it was really crowded for a Thursday dinner time. A lady saw my cane and offer her table to sit at so I felt seen. You pretty much order at the front counter; you pour your own water. Front counter was so nice to us as we try to order. We got the funk salad and kombucha. We didn't order a lot because we wanted to try the place. When we got to our table, it was near the door. Our funk salad came and it was hefty mf. It was a bowl of salad all right. So you know how I said earlier that I don't like vegetarian food? OMG I was amazed. The best salad I've eaten. The vinaigrette was so good; it was citrusy. My salad was cut into small pieces so it wasn't big that I need to cut it. The sweet potato was sauteed. The princess sauerkraut was so good. I don't like sauerkraut at all but it was divine. I never tried kombucha because I thought it was dirt tea. I was wrong. It has the fermented taste and I never knew. After trying it, it's not something I would order again. I liked how I was eating "healthy" food after I ate bad yesterday. I don't have that bad bloated feeling. It's very wheelchair friendly and restroom is unisex. The restroom is clean. The establishment is clean. I would go here again if I have a vegetarian visitor. This place rocks!

It has a large bar where you can watch sports, with a few tables nearby, and a separate large dining room with many tables. We were seated at a booth just past the bar. There was some noise, but the server turned down the background music so I only had to deal with the bar voices. Decor and atmosphere were great. High ceilings and plenty of light in the main room and darker in the dining room. The server was prompt and attentive, without hovering. We asked about 2 wines and she brought a sample from the open "wine by the glass", which was great. My wife had veal piccata and I asked for a recommendation between the linguine with clams or chicken parm. The waitress said the parm was very popular, but the linguine was her favorite, so I went with that. LOTS of clams and a nice slightly thicken sauce that stuck to the pasta and didn't drip off. My wife loved her veal. Prices were all reasonable. Overall, this is a great place for a date, group get together, or casual night out. We'll be back!
