Wireless is free and surprisingly fast (12Mbps download, 768kbps upload), but disappointingly unreliable; if you don't know how to bypass a DHCP server by sniffing network traffic and then manually configuring an IP address, then don't expect it to work for you. There is no sign of available power. Despite the "free wireless" advertised in the windows, this really isn't set up to be somewhere you can work comfortably, which leaves me wondering why it stays open all afternoon.

I really like the environment since it's quite chilled and non-rowdy. I can't stand yelling over others at bars and clubs that put too much crap syrup in their drinks. So anyway, good, laid-back but classy vibe here with fresh drinks. Not the cheapest but affordable for a weekly indulgence if you're a college student/yuppie. The food is lovely they have a tapas menu which allows you to try many dishes that you would not normally try and if you dont like it you can easily move on to the next one. The music gives you a wide range of choice some nights the small dancing place will be packed with customers dancing the night away to the big bass sounds and other nights jazz is on the menu allowing everyone to tap away at their table to the dulcit tones. The decor is another plus for me its stylish, dark, and romantic a place where you can easily lose track of time and stumble upstairs as its getting light.

Most of all, though, the reason I truly love this place is because of the integrity of the people who run it. You see, I was here for a business meeting, and absentmindedly left my laptop underneath one of the tables. I only realized this after taking the train all the way back to London. Upon arriving home, I completely flipped out when I remembered the my brand new MacBook Pro was still at the restaurant. After a frantic call to All Bar One, the manager, Sonny, assured us that the laptop had been located and safely stored in the restaurant's office. Heart attack averted. Overall a must see while in Cambridge although I'm not sure the experience warrants a return visit.
