There is some sense of exclusivity with a bouncer at the door and over priced cocktails. Wouldn't necesarily want to spend a whole lot of time here as it is underground and the ceiling is rather low but I would definitely suggest this to anyone who is going to Cambridge and looking for a trendy place to have a few drinks.

Their choice of cocktails was good and made very well, However the decor and interior are quite dated and not suited to a cocktail bar, infact it looks very similar to the nightclub that proceeded it a few years ago. Their wasnt too much atmosphere however it was early when we arrived but it allfelt a little half hearted the bathroom was awful too. The hidden rooms as the name suggests are hard to find, just down a few steps off jesus lane. (next to pizza express) usually places that are hard to find are often worth the search and effort however this sadly wasnt the case here. It maybe much better late at night though with more people and the cheery beer goggles on.

The alleged pina colada was bland and watery, with plenty of unblended ice remaining in the bottom of the glass. (This latter was a mixed curse; had they succeeded in blending it fully, it is doubtful that even the faintest trace of the presumably-artificial coconut flavouring would have remained.) Wireless is free and surprisingly fast (12Mbps download, 768kbps upload), but disappointingly unreliable; if you don't know how to bypass a DHCP server by sniffing network traffic and then manually configuring an IP address, then don't expect it to work for you. There is no sign of available power. Despite the "free wireless" advertised in the windows, this really isn't set up to be somewhere you can work comfortably, which leaves me wondering why it stays open all afternoon.

Well, I've been to this new bar at least three times now since it's opened a month ago, and I'm trying to utilize my willpower and not go to spend my money. Alas, the owner makes good drinks with fresh ingredients and bases and liqueurs that aren't stocked elsewhere. In addition to getting our cocktails (e.g. caipirinha, margarita anejo) with what seems to be quite top-shelf (or at least mid-shelf...is that a word?...) spirits for 6.75-7.75 pounds per drink, my bf and I have been addicted to the coffee-infused Patron shots, which aren't cheap but are really delicious. I really like the environment since it's quite chilled and non-rowdy. I can't stand yelling over others at bars and clubs that put too much crap syrup in their drinks. So anyway, good, laid-back but classy vibe here with fresh drinks. Not the cheapest but affordable for a weekly indulgence if you're a college student/yuppie. God this place is pandering to my alcoholic needs.

The food is lovely they have a tapas menu which allows you to try many dishes that you would not normally try and if you dont like it you can easily move on to the next one. The music gives you a wide range of choice some nights the small dancing place will be packed with customers dancing the night away to the big bass sounds and other nights jazz is on the menu allowing everyone to tap away at their table to the dulcit tones. The decor is another plus for me its stylish, dark, and romantic a place where you can easily lose track of time and stumble upstairs as its getting light.

The good thing about this place is they don't charge you for cover (well at least when I went) and dress codes aren't strict (I guess cuz they assume everyone in Europe has a good sense of style). Last I was here my friends and I got there early enough to get a booth and ordered ourselves drinks before we hit the dancefloor. But while there, I accidentally bumped into some lady smoking where then she told me to "WOTCH IT!" Also, there seemed to be more guys and girls. You know what that means (I'll let that simmer for a bit). I also couldn't really enjoy their music, not because I didn't like it but moreso because I couldn't get used to it. But everyone around me seemed to enjoy it, what with it being stuff from the U.S. and other countries. The crowd there was very diverse too, especially both young and old. Mostly old. Overall, if I was back in the area I would comeback just to party here one more time. I know there aren't that many clubs/ night spots in Cambridge but the Fez is a good club to check out if you're in the area.

Reservations are definitely required at this spot! I ordered the spinach eggs benedict with toast, and it was decent. The experience there was a bit frustrating, and there were a few mishaps like not entering the order in correctly, not getting coffee until being almost done with the food, and also taking a very long time to pay and leave. I eventually got up to pay at the bar, and the staff was ignoring me and giggling as I stood patiently waiting to pay. It was a cute spot, but I'm not sure if I'd come back.

The restaurant's space is comfortable and well-decorated with a spacious wood interior and soft lighting. The wine and beer list is quite good, and the bartenders made honest recommendations on the wine, which I appreciated. Most of all, though, the reason I truly love this place is because of the integrity of the people who run it. You see, I was here for a business meeting, and absentmindedly left my laptop underneath one of the tables. I only realized this after taking the train all the way back to London. Upon arriving home, I completely flipped out when I remembered the my brand new MacBook Pro was still at the restaurant. After a frantic call to All Bar One, the manager, Sonny, assured us that the laptop had been located and safely stored in the restaurant's office. Heart attack averted. I am incredibly grateful to Sonny and his bar staff. Thank you all for running a comfortable, inviting place with such care and integrity.

I was content with water enjoying the crowd etc. You can order either via the app or at the bar with your table number. Toilets were limited and not the cleanest. Overall a must see while in Cambridge although I'm not sure the experience warrants a return visit.
