Upon walking in you are always greeted warmly by reception, and they are so pleasant and accommodating to deal with when booking, even with the reopening after lockdown rush ! This is my favourite salon in the city hands down. Everyone in the salon is incredibly talented and I see nothing but great work come out while I'm there--But I always see Stacy Fitz ("girl Stacy") for cuts as she does the most fantastic job with my hair. If you are going for a fashion cut/shag or mullet in Toronto you must see Stacy! Looks great on the day of but continues to look great as it grows in for the next 4 months after I see her! Also the lovely Dana is the queen of colour! For platinum upkeep, flawless highlights or fabulous vivids book in with her!! The new protocols they have in place to keep clients' time in salon minimal are still very convenient and all-in-all make me feel much safer. All stylists and staff wearing masks, sanitizing hands and stations frequently and between clients and maintaining a distance whenever possible. For a welcoming warm experience, friendly experience and great quality you must check out Grateful Head!!

Called on a Sunday morning and made appt for the same day at 3:30. I ended up going with a friend…read morewho also wanted a hair cut and they were very nice and was able to accomodate her as well. I have very long here and I want to do a shoulder length cut that's quite drastic from what I'm used to. I showed some pictures to help explain what I want the end result to be. Raymond was my stylist and after listening to what I want, he gave me a few advices before proceeding with the cut. He explained that the end will flair out and that it would look better with non-collar shirts. I really appreciate that he took the time to make sure I'm aware of these things. I got there at 3:30pm and ended up leaving at 5:15pm. I can really tell that they really spend the time, pay a lot of attention to detail and put forth a lot of effort in the cut.

Just take a look at the pictures. I'm not the type to be picky about my hair as long as it looks somewhat similar to a picture I show, but WOW this is surprisingly the worst experience I've had at a hair salon despite the decent reviews. Also have to mention how Yin managed to give me attitude despite not even being my stylist. She seems nice to clients she knows, but not sure about new clients! She complained in front of me to my stylist about the price he was charging for such an awful job, then checked me out. She took my money, took forever to fork out change, then just takes it back without confirming if it was a tip I was leaving first. Not a word at all to me during this entire time. Customer service? I think not! I was charged $185 in exchange for such an atrocious job and had originally scheduled a second appointment to touch up the roots; however, after seeing my own pictures, I simply cannot return. Have to go spend another $200 somewhere else to fix this btw! Yay!!

This was my third haircut in the city of Toronto by three different barbers and this will be the place I return to. With tax, men's haircut was about $38, not including tip. There were probably 7 barbers working in the store and everyone seem to have appointments lined up. I asked for a zero fade on the side and trim on the top. I got exactly what I wanted from Jose who knew how to use clippers very efficiently. Personally I've never been much of a talker during haircuts so Jose's mellow and not overly talkative demeanor worked well for me. Will be back for sure.
