I was on a desperate search to find a salon that can cut and style my wavy/curly hair without…read moremaking it frizzy and make it easy for me to style afterwards. You would be surprised how many salons/stylists out there say they're confident in managing textured Asian hair and really don't know what they're talking about. I have never left a salon fully happy. After a lot of research, I reached out to Morph on Yelp and decided to give them a try... And I've never looked back. I go to Peter and he will always be my go-to. He gives you insight on the condition of your hair, what kind of products you should use, and teaches you how to style your own hair at home to make it easy for you to upkeep. He also recommended styles that fit with my hair's texture and length, and what looks best for my face. I like that they also don't oversell you on the products they use - they know the products they have are on the more expensive side. The service you get here is great - there's someone to help take your jacket and put it away, and the brief head massages you get while they wash your hair is heavenly! I've referred so many friends and family members here and they've all left happy!

I was attracted to this place when I found out that you could customize your latte art! You can do…read moreso either by downloading their app and sending them a picture that they'll "print" onto your drink or you can just order your beverage and they'll surprised you with some latte art (like our marshmallow friend in the pictures here). The mocha we ordered was delicious, adequate in chocolate notes paired with espresso. I want to say that the drinks were the highlight of my experience here. They have a few special menu items, like the unagi pizza - which I found was not the best in terms of taste. I can't pick out exactly what it is, but something on there wasn't to my liking. Either way, interesting menu item to try. To finish off, I ordered some cotton candy for my sister. I was disappointed that they said they ran out of the paper cones/sticks for the cotton candy, so they offered it to me in brown paper bags. Parking is alright as well in the plaza, since there's a lot else within.

It was easy to book an appointment online and my stylist Yoki was very responsive. I was very excited to visit. When I entered the shop I was immediately greeted warmly and with respect. Booking an appointment was super fast and easy with their online booking system. I like how they have the prices listed there too so you have a good idea what to expect. My appointment was on a Saturday at noon and it was decently busy. I was a little hesitant to try this place because I find it difficult to find places that can cut the style I want on my asian hair. But I was greeted nicely and was attended to right away. The shampoo with head massage was soooo good and relaxing! I almost fell asleep. Definitely one of the best I've had at a hair salon. For the haircut, I had Vivian. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and said I wanted to chop off quite a bit so my ends could be healthy. She listened to what I wanted and recommended some ideas since what I said I wanted wasn't exactly like the picture I showed. You could tell Vivian paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure everything was even and how I liked it. Overall, I liked my hair cut and the price was fair. Staff were attentive and friendly. Lots of street parking was available and the place was easy to find. Glad I found a new place for a hair cut!

Just take a look at the pictures. I'm not the type to be picky about my hair as long as it looks somewhat similar to a picture I show, but WOW this is surprisingly the worst experience I've had at a hair salon despite the decent reviews. Also have to mention how Yin managed to give me attitude despite not even being my stylist. She seems nice to clients she knows, but not sure about new clients! She complained in front of me to my stylist about the price he was charging for such an awful job, then checked me out. She took my money, took forever to fork out change, then just takes it back without confirming if it was a tip I was leaving first. Not a word at all to me during this entire time. Customer service? I think not! I was charged $185 in exchange for such an atrocious job and had originally scheduled a second appointment to touch up the roots; however, after seeing my own pictures, I simply cannot return. Have to go spend another $200 somewhere else to fix this btw! Yay!!

The people that work here are really nice and the guy at the front took my coat for me and welcomed me to sit and wait. The girl that cut my hair was yin, and she was super friendly. I don't like washing my hair at hair places and wasting the few extra bucks, especially when my hair is already clean.. usually when places find out that they're not scamming you out of your few extra dollars for a mediocre hair wash, the stylists get nasty and will say stuff like "oh, it'd be easier if you washed your hair" or some petty shit like that. Yin did not at all and sat me in the chair as soon as I said I didn't need to, since I had washed my hair that morning already. I showed her a few reference pics of what I wanted, and she literally gave it to me in front of my eyes. Trimmed off all my dead ends and gave me longer hair in the front and shorter in the back. She even complimented my hair colour, which I did at home. (SO many places love ripping on you for your hair style/colour, especially if they weren't the ones to do it) The final result was a little choppy in the end (could've had more layers) but I liked it. It was a nice change. For $27 + a $2 tip .. not bad! Will return.

My stylist is Andy and he's been great to me and my hair. I came in at the recommendation of a friend who said this place was good, a vague description of a salon considering most places I've been to were either mediocre, pricey, or a combination of both. Hair wash: I'd rate it 10/5 if I could, it's just that good. They make sure to massage your neck after massaging your scalp multiple of times. It's so relaxing and the service makes the experience extraordinary. Cut: Andy is so detailed when it comes to just a simple trim. Nothing was rushed and he was very helpful with my clueless desire for a vague cut. The products they use are all the best of the best. Service: So great!! They served my mom and I tea for the wait, and they were super nice about everything. Atmosphere: Classy and top notch, professional. Expect nothing less! Price: $38! So great for what you get. Definitely recommend.
