That in itself is a great accomplishment. Cheers Eddie on your amazing business

They bleached my hair twice totally fried it and bleached it a third time which I felt so much pain because they chemically burned my scalp. They saw I was in pain and told me oh it's itchy it happens to everyone. I think I would know the difference between an itch and a chemical burn from bleaching the hair at the roots. In the process they got bleach on my cheek. As well as bleach on my eye. They also charged me $400 for this are you kidding me. I don't recommend coming here at all if you want to highlight or dye your hair. Oh and the whole process took me 8 hours. Don't ever come here!!!!! The one with the face blurred out is a before pic. In the after picture you can see that it's crooked and they left dye in my hair! They ruined my hair.

He will ask you for what you want, and then gently give suggestions or ask more questions to help. Some hairdressers may want to get you in and out of the chair as soon as possible, but he really takes the time to make sure that you get a good haircut. Several times he will look from multiple angles, press my shoulders down evenly to make sure things are symmetrical, and then make little adjustments here and there. He is also chatty if you feel like talking, and otherwise more reticent if he senses that you want to keep to yourself. You would be surprised how many salons/stylists out there say they're confident in managing textured Asian hair and really don't know what they're talking about. I go to Peter and he will always be my go-to. He gives you insight on the condition of your hair, what kind of products you should use, and teaches you how to style your own hair at home to make it easy for you to upkeep. He also recommended styles that fit with my hair's texture and length, and what looks best for my face. I like that they also don't oversell you on the products they use - they know the products they have are on the more expensive side. The service you get here is great - there's someone to help take your jacket and put it away, and the brief head massages you get while they wash your hair is heavenly! I've referred so many friends and family members here and they've all left happy!

I chose to have a stylist cut my hair yesterday. Honestly I thought the experience was going great…read more The lady who did my wash and dry was really nice and was fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English so my mom was chatting with her and everything, ok cool. Then the stylist comes. I believe his name was Jucci (guy with glasses and greyish hair). He asks what kind of cut I want. I told him I just wanted a trim, and showed him I only wanted it 2 inches shorter max. He immediately laughed and told me, that's not a haircut. It pretty much went downhill from that. If anyone wants a TL;DR, this guy was a dick. My mom was trying to chat with him, since my Mandarin is not that good, but then we realized he couldn't speak Mandarin that well. He was being a little prick about it already, like "LOL uhh.. I don't speak Mandarin that well either". Anyways, I ended up telling him I wanted layers, because my hair did originally have long layers. Then he asked me if I wanted it straight at the back or a v shape. I asked for a v shape, not really knowing he was going to chop off almost all of the hair I dyed a few months ago. Ok, fair enough it was a misunderstanding. My mom started looking over to check on me once in awhile, and this guy has the nerve to say "why does your mom keep doing that? It's pretty rude. Do you guys need to be getting somewhere? .. I'll just take my time then". Wow. I didn't really know what to say, this guy can't even respect his elders and will just say whatever is on his mind to his customers. I know I'm around his age but seriously? It got to the point where he finished cutting one side, and saying "If there is a problem, you guys can just leave, free of charge". At this point I also started checking on the length he cut, because I was pretty shocked at how much he was cutting off. He started freaking out at this point too "You asked for layers, I gave you layers!" as if he deserved so much respect for giving me the opportunity of a haircut. Seriously? At this point I just wanted to get out of there. I waited for him to finish the other side, but he was taking his sweet time as mentioned earlier. He literally took 45min to cut my hair, and continue to thin it. I don't mind long haircuts normally, but it started getting annoying to hear his petty comments. It was already too late when he decided he would only cut one side of my hair. Obviously I can't object and have the other side of my hair look ridiculous. In the end he gave me a bob haircut -- really short layers at the top and super thinned out at the back. This is not what I wanted. I know a lot of people can say that I should've brought in a picture or been more specific about what I wanted, but I think it was mostly this guy's horrible attitude that wants me to give this place a 1-star. For a $40 hair cut, you'd expect better service. Luckily, hair always grows back so I'm not too upset by it as of now. I don't think I'll be coming back again.

There was no colour on 90% of my hair I haven't coloured it for two years due to Pregnancy and they still managed to blame it to the 5% balayage left on my hair. They said that oh it was coloured thats why it was DAMAGED but I heard the manager talked to the person and ask why did they left the bleach for TOO LONG. When bleaching was all done, I was trusting the process due to different stylist have their own techniques but the person who coloured my hair admitted that it was her FIRST TIME doing any colour on a customer! Imagine that being said to you during toning time. I asked for an Ash blonde and they turned grey on the bottom and brassy brown on the roots. I showed the picture and it was not even close!
