She made it very obvious she didn't like a specific customer and didn't even try to hide it. Raising her voice, snapping in an annoyed tone, and creating a scene over something as simple as someone trying to buy that person a drink. Instead of handling it professionally, she acted like the person offering the drink was doing something wrong, which was completely uncalled for. I felt bad for the guy. It honestly felt like we were watching someone push their personal feelings onto customers instead of doing their job. If you don't like a patron, fine--but don't make it everyone else's problem. It created a tense, awkward atmosphere and made the whole place feel hostile. And if this customer is really that terrible to deal with, then handle it the right way--ban him. Don't take it out on other paying customers who are just trying to have a good time. We came in expecting a normal night and left feeling uncomfortable. From all of the reviews it made it sound like we would have a fun and inviting time. It was anything but that.

The bar area has the character of a midwestern bar. About 30 ft on lay the dining area which was non-descript and empty (it was late). In short, the food was fine. The waitress was cordial enough, and prices were more than fair. This place serves the 'the locals' and probably serves them well. I probably won't come back because it is out of the way. The other reviewers who rip on the place are transients, and don't matter. You need to get the context to understand a place like this and who it ultimately exists for.

Local bands play here quite a bit, which is great if you only like nu-metal. I'd say this is the best trait of the bar. Other than that. I've had only rude experiences with the bar tenders, and the owners. They're unfriendly, sarcastic, and down right rude to a point where I've questioned their mental stability. (Particularly, what I assume is their sound guy, Boo. He's simply creepy, and doesn't respond to simple questions, just stares.) The drinks are over priced. (4$ for a Pabst? Are you kidding me?) The bar is very clicky, and they rudely usher out all paying patrons at the end of the night so they can party in the back pool room with their friends. All in all, an annoying bar. You'd be better off going to the strip club across the street or heading downtown to PI or Glass Hat.

The bartender proceeded to scold the couple ahead of us. The server/host never said boo to us or the other couple. The bartender was busy talking to regulars. We left when the bartender started scolding. Probably a great place for regular drinkers. If that keeps them afloat they have no worries!

When you walk in there are some tables, and a second room with more tables, and an area to grab drinks. The first room has the register in the back and you can see the kitchen area as well. I was a little confused upon arrival. We were seated, and he brought waters. They had the drinks in the next room and if you want one you are supposed to just go up and grab some. I only knew this when some regular's came in. The server is quiet which I didn't mind, but I can see how others wouldn't be as happy. I really enjoyed their authentic style tacos which have corn tortilla, cilantro, onions, and your choice of protein. You really cant go wrong with any of the food here. Its true to what it is.

For three people it was $105 for terrible food. My ground beef chimichanga was so greasy it was running all over the plate. It wasn't fresh at all and tasted old and nasty. The mexican rice was a joke. It had an overwhelming taste of tomato paste and a weird seasoning blend. It was not a true mexican rice. I ate very little of my food and threw in the garbage when I got home. The two burgers were supposed to be cooked medium they were burnt black. The only highlight was the french fries and drinks. The rest was complete garbage and would have been better off buying frozen chimichangas and cooking them. That would have been at least edible. We will never come back and feel ripped off with the slop they serve.

The food was not your typical Wisconsin type cheesehead food. it was actually pretty flavorful and good. they had some really interesting craft cocktails there, in fact some place that creates their own. The salmon was cooked perfectly and came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The restaurant has indoor, outdoor and balcony seating. Plus a really cool open room with leather chairs for drinking and talking . I can be a bit loud (traffic noise) when the outdoors area is open. But the contemporary mellow rock music covers it up well. So many beer and wine selections to choose from, but tonight I settled for a refreshing iced tea. (They cut a hunk of fresh lemon in each glass... nice touch) Now I have to come back for the Jagerschnitzel next time!
