Posting update to my review for other Yelpers. I was here this weekend, not today 7-13-26. I only waited to give the business a review until today when I had more time. Bob L never comped my bill and he couldn't care less about how bad the customer service was this weekend, or making it right then, so . As for the loudness- Bob L. your underhanded digs are unprofessional. You are rude and it's not necessary over simple feedback that you could use to grow. You should also know better than to have music so loud to a point where patrons can't have a conversation. We were shouting at each other and had a hard time hearing. Think about working on your attitude when it comes to those that ennable your business to stay open- because I can see where the main problems here started. Maturity and respect is a must if you want to be taken seriously in the real world.

Disappointed with the frozen French fries. Cole slaw was good! The food wasn't ready at the time they indicated, and the only option was to sit at the bar or a high stool table. That didn't work for person who went in to pick up and pay, so they had to uncomfortably lean against the bar to Wait. Sincerely doubt we'll try there again.

We went for the first time for Lobster roll night and the lobster roll was FANTASTIC! The Burrata and Grasshopper were tasty as well but the Mozzarella Wontons lacked mozzarella and were practically empty inside, maybe a very tiny sprinkle of cheese. I'd go back again for their specialty lobster night in a heartbeat but could do without the other items we had. I'd probably try a few more light bites from the menu. The server was pretty good but left us and other hanging for a long period and many people ended up going to the bar to get help, but again this is mainly a bar and the special night had a place full of patrons for food and I believe our server was the only one for the whole place and then two people solely behind the bar.

That was a great feature. After taking our order, the waitress gave us the option to pick our own seats in the dining room. Last time we came they were super busy so we had to wait in the bar. And our food came out very quickly. While our waitress initially missed our order of cheese curds, she was very apologetic and they arrived quickly. The perch, jumbo tiger shrimp and both baked and fried haddock have been great. The best fish fry we have found in Wausau after being spoiled living in the Fox Valley of Northeast Wisconsin.

The food was not your typical Wisconsin type cheesehead food. it was actually pretty flavorful and good. they had some really interesting craft cocktails there, in fact some place that creates their own. I prefer this over the type of place that tries to convince you that a basic "lemon drop" is bougie. The dark wood here really gives a rustic but upscale wood cabin. I'd recommend for a nice evening out.

Spectacular atmosphere! Food is great too!…read more First time here. I'll have to say I came here for the Jagerschnitzel but pivoted to the Lemon Caper Salmon. I think I made a good choice! The salmon was cooked perfectly and came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The restaurant has indoor, outdoor and balcony seating. Plus a really cool open room with leather chairs for drinking and talking . I can be a bit loud (traffic noise) when the outdoors area is open. But the contemporary mellow rock music covers it up well. So many beer and wine selections to choose from, but tonight I settled for a refreshing iced tea. (They cut a hunk of fresh lemon in each glass... nice touch) Now I have to come back for the Jagerschnitzel next time!

It is a vibe in here and the views are great, I love the atmosphere! They have an elevator or stairs to get up to the 5th floor. It is a tiny elevator if you are bringing a larger group. The bathrooms were immaculately clean and it felt like a spa vibe. Service: Friendly and helpful, got all of our orders correct and the food came out quite quickly. Drink: I HIGHLY recommend the mezcal bloody mary, it was my favorite part of the entire experience. I would come back just for that drink. Food: Everyone at the table was extremely happy with their food and was raving about it, except me lol The breakfast quesadilla is meh. The eggs were over cooked, not a lot of filling, and the filling was watery? Maybe from the veggies? Which doesn't make sense because there was barely anything other than egg in the quesadilla. The sauces didn't have a ton of flavor and the outside of the tortilla wasn't very crispy. I'm leaving 4 stars though because everyone else was extremely happy with their food and that mezcal bloody was fantastic. Super cute vibes and a great place to chill with family and friends.

There were about 3 tables inside and a birthday party outside(it was almost over) when we walked in. Stood there for a few minutes and then the bartender (guessing he may have been the manager) said we could sit anywhere. We picked a table and waited and waited-everyone was going around lost, looked at us and no one stopped to help us. We were just about to walk out. Finally the same bartender asked if we had been helped yet and we said no so he asked what we wanted to drink, we ordered pops and he said it was on him and he was sorry about that. He came out from behind the bar and went to the host stand and got us menus and silverware-at this time the host finally came back to her station and said she didn't see us walk in-well no she didn't, she wasn't there. Then there was a conversation between bartender and host about who was gonna be our waitress. Sat there for awhile looking at the menus and no waitress, finally just about fed up and she showed up. She asked if we wanted any apps, we said no and said we were ready to order. I ordered 10 wings and asked about two sauces, which she was unsure of the difference, she said she was fairly new and just learned them all, but did answer my questions. I ordered spicy garlic and spicy Thai sauces on the side. After I ordered she asked what my pop was, I said it didn't make a difference as the bartender said he covered the cost. She said just so she knows for refills and such. Husband ordered 10 traditional wings with the maple bacon bbq sauce. Also ordered a Philly cheesesteak w/fries for us to try. We both got carrots, celery and blue cheese. Our food was delivered in a timely manner. For my wings-she brought boneless, which I realized I didn't specify so not her fault, but my husband's was also boneless and he had ordered traditional. I asked her about it and she said oh, I didn't hear him, I just put boneless in because most people that dine in order them because of the deal. I stated well we didn't know there was a deal as no one told us. She just said oh well most people know the deal before they come in and I said we didn't. And she just looked at me. So I asked well what is the deal and she's like well boneless wings are $0.80 each. I said ok. We sent his back as I knew he ordered traditional. When she checked on us while waiting for his to be fixed, I asked about my sauces. It did not taste like a spicy garlic. She said it is, I said well it tastes like buffalo-which it did, No garlic flavor at all. She just said that's weird and walked away. Finally my husband's new Wings came out and they were really good, best part of the meal, he did get all flats, which I love but he prefers a mix (not sure if they always do flats or not). Most laughable part of the meal is , we get the bill and lo and behold the 2 pops were on there. (They charge for the veggies, blue cheese and and extra sauces as well.) She came to take our bill and I said those two pops should not be on there, the bartender said he was gonna cover those, she said I didn't know, he didn't say anything to me. (I bit my tongue, I was gonna say--but I told you at the beginning). So she said she would go take them off, took her a bit, but did get it resolved. We saw her more when it was time to pay then the whole rest of the meal! Also, the men's bathroom stall door wouldn't stay closed and toilet didn't flush. There was also a lot of confusion when a few other tables came in and then they were talking about better let the kitchen know there's a table of 6, like it was group of 16... Overall we won't go back, which is too bad as the chicken wings were good, even the boneless ones were tender.

The bartender proceeded to scold the couple ahead of us. The server/host never said boo to us or the other couple. The bartender was busy talking to regulars.
