God I love this pub!…read more OK, so it's REALLY not glamorous in the slightest but it's incredibly friendly, a great place to watch football (it's a Liverpool pub but the clientele is mixed and all are welcome) and does top notch and cheap curry. The Chilli Paneer, chilli chicken and peshwari naans are particularly recommended. A nice place for traditional pub pursuits (football, beer, darts, banter, etc).

Live band playing old skool Bollywood music from 8-midnight on Fridays; some of their songs were a bit hit and miss and they did murder a couple of classics but on the whole they were fairly decent, a few people got up and danced towards the end of the evening, generally the music style is quite mellow, singalong popular Hindi tunes rather than in your face bhangra. The bar prices are average, although the bar staff don't seem to be overly efficient, strange that they serve you soft drinks such as fruit juice in the bottle and have to be asked to provide a glass with ice, also the glasses seem really old and need to be either thrown away or WASHED very thoroughly! Empty glasses left on tables far too long and empty food plates seemed to take ages to clear away. The Indian food which is competitiely priced is rather bland considering most of the clientele are Indian here, everyone in my group who ordered food said the food is always bland, but the sauces provided do help give the food a bit more flavour. Decent sized car park available, live sports on TV and pool tables to keep customers entertained also make this a decent enough local pub.

Jolly Waggoners - Chicken Biryani and a salad. With a pint, of course!

With the refurbishment they have new furniture and fittings and a new classical look. The outside has been improved and they also have new signage. The clientele range from 18 to 80+ with all appreciating the trouble free, female friendly reputation it holds. For added peace of mind there is CCTV cameras. The new extensive main menu has proved very popular. Food can be eaten anywhere in the pub or outside on the patio in the summer. Evening entertainment is well attended and includes weekly karaoke and disco. regular theme nights and live music. With so much on offer here i would say, it is a place to spend one of your precious evenings. You would love the chicken in cream sauce. It is the best

Has an UNSAFE totally weird, essentially inoperable (not a passenger) elevator.) Themgmt reported me as a "no show" to booking.com (so I couldn't leave a report on their website) and charged my credit card under another name (not the name of the hotel) and categorized the charges as "dining", all in an effort to sneak the charge past me. Anybody decent would apologize profusely for the UNSAFE conditions and not attempt to charge me (It was so unsettling and unsafe that I had to leave at 1:30 am and walk half a mile down the road to the Doubletree.) 'Authentic Indian Pub With Character And Charisma'…read more This pub is probably one of Southall's last 'Indian pubs' that combine the culture and friendly nature of the Indian society. It is not a heavily decorated pub; nor has it got glamour ornaments in every area. Drinks...basic pub drinks with some interesting beers. All at a reasonable price and good whiskeys to go with it 'Desi' style Company... this is a heavily male environment; with sports on show and a male bonding style presence. However, if you wanted to take a lady/or children, there is a quieter area you can sit in and enjoy Other cultures...this pub is great to savor an authentic Indian pub, music and food. It really does good justice to Indian culture. The owners are always present and do say hello. Decoration... there are some nice authentic looking pictures/paintings up. Bland, homely looking coloring with a quieter, darker (restaurant esk) area that is dim with warm lighting. Only four stars as it is a male area. But honestly more like a 4.7/5. This really is a fantastic treat.

The pub is decorated nicely and the pub has a warm feel to it, if you're feeling hungry, the pub has a kitchen serving a variety of Indian food, I would recommend the chicken tikka wrap. Only disadvantage is that there's no pub car park.
