The store is clean, there are usually good deals, and there are employees around if you need help. That said, I had a frustrating experience here about a year ago that still stands out. I bought a pair of shoes and didn't inspect them closely in the store because I assumed they were new. When I got home, I noticed dirt on the bottoms. I brought them back the next day to show the issue and be upfront about it. Instead of listening, the manager immediately accused me of wearing the shoes myself. I asked her to check the cameras at the register and showed her the receipt with the exact checkout time, but she refused and insisted it was impossible that I bought them that way. She would not allow the return. A few days later, I brought the same shoes back without mentioning the dirt or wear, and they accepted the return with no issue. Overall, the store itself is fine, but that interaction left a bad impression. Customer service should involve listening, not jumping to accusations.

However, at checkout, we were told we could not complete the purchase due to a policy limiting customers to five of the same type of item per "customer group." We clarified that we are not resellers and that the items were different in style and color. Despite this, the associate still refused to proceed with the transaction. While I understand the importance of preventing bulk purchasing by resellers, the way this policy was applied made us feel unfairly judged. As Asians, we could not help but feel that the assumption made about us was inappropriate and potentially discriminatory.
