Oasis knocked it out of the park again! Burger perfectly smashed. Hubby had a pork tenderloin and tots which were great . The bun was perfectly undersized for the tenderloin! But the brown butter cheesecake tonight takes the prize! And that crust!! Reminds me of the cheesecakes at Miles Lab!

Great dinner when in town for a wedding. A quick Google search with good reviews lead us to The Oasis. The hostess found us a table quickly on a Saturday at dinner with no reservations. A really nice cocktail menu and dinner options! Generous portions and reasonable prices. The wait staff was really quick and friendly. Would definitely go back if I was in Goshen again.

My third visit to the O. First, the restaurant inside and out is very cool. Fun and inviting spaces to sit both inside bar area and outside. I've ordered their zucchini noodle bowls several times and it was delicious! Husband had had the smash burger and chicken club, both were great. Last visit had the chicken Caesar salad, not impressed. They lose a star because of slow service and pricey cocktails. I rather not pay $12+ for a single cocktail when my entree is that or less. If you want customers to order more drinks lower your prices, this is Goshen Indiana, not Chicago. Bartender, not the manager was our server and less than attentive.

I'm so glad we can across this place! Since gaining a few pounds due to quarantine, I have been trying to eat a little healthier. My husband and I were on a camping trip this weekend and trying to find a place to eat after a long day of shopping I'm Shipshewana. A lot of places were operating on Covid hours and were either closing at 2pm or not opening till 4pm. So- we came across The Oasis. We sat at the bar and got a drinks fast. Once we got the menus, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many healthy options they had! I ordered the "make your own bowl". I got doodles, roasted corn, tomatoes, artichoke hearts with chicken. It was amazing! My husband ordered the O Burger... all I can remember about it is that it had some kind of strawberry jam on it! (Deliciousness!). For lunch, 2 kettle soda waters, 3 beers and a burger I think we paid $67. I'd say, worth it!

We arrived at about 5pm on a weekday and were seated almost right away. I was shocked to find out that they do offer a kids menu. The food was very good, I ordered the smash burger and it was delicious. The only bad thing I have to say is we had ordered an appetizer and never got it but it wasn't on the check either so not a big deal. Our food came out very quickly as well so we didn't necessarily need the appetizer.

We stopped in here a little after 12:00 on a Friday afternoon. We were promptly greeted and seated in the area that is also the bar (there were tables and booths in there) and we're givenenus and told our servers name and that she's be along. We explained it was our first time there so she gave us sufficient time to look at the menu and answer any questions we had. I ended up ordering the lobster roll with sweet potatoes waffle fries ($2 extra) (comes with a maple aioli that would be even more awesome if it had some horseradish in it, just to temper all the sweetness). My husband doesn't like sweet potato fries but he really liked these. He got the Barnyard burger, comes with cheese, bacon and a fried egg. He had never had a burger with a egg on it before and they allow you to say how you want the egg done, as well as the meat. He really loved it and says he would definitely order a burger with an egg on it again. Came with a very generous portion of tator tots. The burger was cheaper than most other places not nearly as nice as this and he could tell it was a better quality of meat (like steak meat.)My lobster roll bun was grilled on the outside made a slight crunch that was very satisfying when I bit into it. It was very good but I wish it had bigger chunks of lobster in it, it was mostly shredded or finely chopped meat. Wish they would mix it with some bigger chunks to get the full lobster flavor. Service was great, food was wonderful and it left us wanting to come back soon for dinner (they also have live music on certain nights). They also played good music in the background while we ate (Foo Fighters, Cheap Trick, Billy Joel, Kings of Leon mostly 1980-2000 songs).

All our entrees were delicious (Cobb salad with chicken, Brisket sandwich, and the Hot Mess), each with a distinct wood flavor from the smoker in the kitchen. My Hot Mess was surprisingly good since I live in NC which is pulled pork paradise. Excellent. A couple critiques are the plate for the salad was too small making it difficult to eat, and the lack of table service. In the mood for smoky meats and chilled libations? Well that was 25 min for a scramble. Then they put a few orders in front of me. And finally I here please rush my order. And it comes out looking like a pos. Crap! Tastes bad looks bad. Service bad. Okay.. after eating and chilling for a minute... it did look like some ufo. Unidentified fly omelette. But it was not horrible, could have been a lot better. I get you ate busy but cmon. May rethink going back. But I like supporting local so I'll give them another shot when less busy.

If there were a zero-star option, that is what this restaurant would receive…read more What should have been a simple family meal on Easter Sunday turned into one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional restaurant experiences I have ever witnessed. My parents were visiting from South Carolina, and my wife, son, and I came from Frankfort, Indiana to spend time with family in Goshen. Instead, this restaurant managed to turn a holiday family gathering into an embarrassing and upsetting experience that left my mother in tears. Our party of eight arrived at approximately 11:25 a.m. and put our name in with the hostess. We were told the wait would be about 25 to 30 minutes. That was completely reasonable, so we sat down and waited patiently. Around 11:45 a.m., another woman came in, spoke briefly with the hostess, and sat down. After that, we watched two tables of six get seated before us, despite the fact that our full party had already been present and waiting. When my brother politely asked when we would be seated, the hostess claimed there was another party ahead of us and pointed to the woman who had arrived later. The hostess then asked that woman whether her full party was there, and she said yes, even though someone in her own group stated that they were still waiting on two more people. Meanwhile, our full party of eight had already been there the entire time. At that point, my mother calmly said that we had been waiting patiently for around 40 minutes and asked why another larger party was being seated ahead of us. The response from the hostesses was beyond unacceptable. Instead of addressing the situation honestly or professionally, they labeled my mother rude and openly stated that they were seating the other party first because of it. Then came the most unbelievable part. We asked to speak with a manager, expecting the situation to be corrected. Instead, the manager sided with the hostesses and told us, in front of our entire family, that they could choose who to seat first based on how rude they believed customers were being. Read that again. A manager openly defended retaliatory service. This was not a misunderstanding. It was not a minor hosting error. It was blatant favoritism, dishonest communication, and management-endorsed disrespect. It showed a complete lack of professionalism, basic customer service, and simple decency. No family should be treated this way, especially on a holiday, and no mother should leave a restaurant in tears because staff and management chose to escalate rather than do their jobs with fairness and maturity. We left without eating and will never return. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this restaurant to think twice before giving their time, money, or trust to a place that treats families this way.
