Okra tasted very fresh and was crisp without being greasy. Pickles were a little spicy but tasted great. Red beans and rice were super flavorful without being spicy. They were definitely my favorite thing of the night. We were told the owner makes the sausage that went into the beans, and it was fabulous! The owner graciously brought us a few boiled crawfish to try. He attempted, unsuccessfully, to teach us how to peel and eat them. He was a great sport and fun and friendly. Prices were reasonable, service was good, and dining room was clean. I hope this place does well and stays around for awhile
