It wasn't a gourmet or artisan sandwich, but for what it was it was pretty good. I really enjoyed it too. The best part, it cost 2.80 EUR. But the standard was much higher than than the price suggests. They also have a counter down the back where you can have your sandwich made to your own liking. Highly recommended.

The Food Room do juices, wraps, quiches and all that malarkey, which are all very nice, but the place is a right pain in the hole if you want to buy normal groceries. The Food Room is part of a wider Clontarfian malaise: there are very few normal shops in this part of Dublin. A friend of mine lives but an asses roar from The Food Room, which is really handy for her when she wants to buy birthday cards, but not much use when she wants a few messages. I'd quite possibly be giving this place a better review if there were more real shops in the locality.

Not too milky - just how like it. The scone was a wee bit dry but good all the same, served with cream and jam -my favourite! The staff were lovely, very friendly having chats with customers (everybody knows everybody so of course they are!) and just being generally smiley, which makes the cafe quite cheerful.
