Cute coffee shop-cum-bistro just across the street from the DART station. It's tiny in all ways but the portions- seats for maybe 20, little pastry display counter, eensy kitchen behind that with just enough room for the two chefs in there!
I can vouch for the chicken pesto panini: chicken chunks with cheese and homemade red pesto served on crispy seedy bread. The pesto is deadly, and I mean that two ways! One, it tastes great. Two, it's loaded to the gills with garlic, so don't make any smoochin' plans! The roast chicken "chunks" looked too square to have been homemade, and this was especially noticeable in my companion's Thai chicken salad. I have no complaints, though, about the other pieces of the meal or the ambiance of the place. Kitschy wallpaper and classic jazz music are always winners for me! I'm waiting for an invite back to my friend's place so we can go here again. read more
