What a turnabout!
So I have frequented this place on numerous occasions during the day for coffee. Became a little thing. Jump on the Luas. Jump off here for coffee and then jump back on again and continue my journey.
So imagine my surprise when they took this little building and converted it into a night time wine bar and bistro. On a luas stop?!?
So I popped in, to test the wine. As you do. And I was blown away.
This was no longer the little shop doing coffee and muffins. This has transformed into a stylish, beautiful, quiet little place where you could happily sit and have a great glass of wine and some food to go with.
My friend ordered a main course from here, whilst I went straight for dessert,
The food came out and was presented to a tee. Stunning looking plates with exceptionally tasty food. My eton mess was a delight to have. Thick, creamy, crunchy with some good fruit in there. Pleasure to have next to the great glass of organic Malbec.
My friends crab and sweet potato salad looked amazing. So beautifully presented and she said it tasted fantastic.
Price wise, its a little on the dear side. 9e for my glass of wine, 6e for dessert, approx 12-18e for a main course. But I will definitely be back again, for the atmosphere, the food and the relaxed, dining experience I think you could have here.
Oh and during the day for coffee as well! read more
