Yetti Skillet! Wowza and Yuge. Hashbrowns, ham, bella shrooms, red bell peps, cheddar and pepper jack cheese. You can order 1/2

What can we say! The Yetti is a breakfast for all day! I was happy I had some hasbrown lovers to share this with. One of the best skillets i have had in a long while!! The Strawberry Nutella crepes were amazing as well. Super rich! I suggest sime coffee or with this. The coffee and drinks were great as well. And to top this all off with great service. They are on it all! Go and enjoy!

Steak and eggs. Steak was thin and rather fatty. Came with garlic parmesan hash browns, lots of good flavor

Overall, the experience was average. The coffee was great! The food had some wait but was overall what you would expect, nothing special. The overall vibe was honestly pretty loud, definitely not a place you could have a conversation (especially during a busy morning).

Wanted to be here for breakfast. Reviews looked good. Ran late so it became 12:00 by the time we got here. With my vegan lady friend. We found a few things on the menu and they were quite good for sure would recommend in a heartbeat. They do feed you a lot!

Half order of the El Presidente

We got here at 11 on a Sunday, hoping to beat the lunch crowd but no such luck; we waited over 30 min for a table and then at least 20 min for our food after we ordered, BUT they did tell us to expect such a wait. The menu is unique and appetizing, which is probably why this place is so popular. All in all, it's a nice spot with great service but the wait was so long! I'm glad they offer 1/2 size portions of their main dishes because that was wayyyyyy more than enough food. The El Presidente was good but I wish all of the hash browns were crispy, the ones on top were mushy.

My sister was is Eau Claire for work and she loved this place, and I had to check it out. They have VEGAN options which is a plus along with non dairy milk! We went on a Saturday morning and only had to wait 10 or so minutes for a table which isn't too bad. I got the vegan bagel sandwich and thought it was very filling. I got the chai tea with vanilla flavoring and it was delightful. My sister enjoyed her meal as well. It was loud along with music playing in the background so at times it was hard to hear each other. The bathrooms were also clean (there's changing tables as well). There's also plenty of street parking nearby. Overall this was a nice experience and would love to came back.

1/2 yeti skillet. The half portion is HUGE, and super delicious!!

The cafe has a very light, aesthetically appealing atmosphere. The employees were incredibly friendly! The food is amazing; I had 1/2 yeti skillet (which is more than enough food!) and my partner had the lemon crepes. Both were delicious and came in large portion sizes, especially for the price!! If I ever find myself in the area again, The Nucleus Cafe is a must-visit.

Seasonal specials not on their regular menu

Lively place with all tables filled at 10am on a Thursday. Definitely popular in the area with an absolutely creative menu. Tried the Spring Pig from the seasonal specials menu. Great fresh asparagus n egg n cream cheese n bacon wrapped in a delicate crepe. Great flavor combination I'd never have thought to put together.

Strawberry Nutella Crêpe with Whipped Cream

Great local spot in the downtown district. Great service with a unique coffee-shop/diner atmosphere. Great breakfast food options at a reasonable price. The only issue we found was that it is a local favorite so you may have to wait a while to be seated, but well worth the wait!

My daughter got the strawberry Nutella crepe. It was full of whipped cream and strawberries. Whipped cream overload, but good. Everything people around us had looked good, and the place was packed.

Lattes
Mike N.

Eau Claire, Wi. After my last visit here I feel I must upgrade my rating because the omelette was one of the best I've had. Moist without being runny, full of good ingredients and an exceptional sauce. The lattes were perfect and served in Not Neutral cups that retain heat very well and are easy to hold. The orange juice is still the best around, and my wife's eggs were perfect. With such an extensive menu though, why not add simple items like granola with yogurt and fruit? Maybe too difficult to reprint the menu?

Signed blue massive wall art. They have such amazing decor.

Wish I could give 6 or 7 stars. The staff is the best I've encountered in a very very long time. Helpful, kind and you can tell they want you to have the best experience. The food was fantastic and the decor is great. I was told to eat here by educators from Whitehall, WI and they were so right. Love this place!

Orange juice-yummy

Bomb food in where, Wisconsin??!!! I was well pleased with this food establishment. The portions were large, the food well prepared, and the service was pleasant. It's in what seems like the historic downtown area, and this place just nailed it. El Presidente-large Mexicanish omelette with chorizo, hashbrowns, bell peppers, and crispy cheese. What's not to like?? I got the half portion and barely finished it. Ricotta pancakes-fluffy, creamy, and flavorful. Cuban Sandwhich-pretty large sandwich. Not in your traditional bread, but still packed with flavor. Well done guys.

The best brunch around, hands down! They also make real European-style cappuccinos and lattes.

We were greeted warmly and then seated ourselves. Our server, David, was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. We had espresso, chai, and shared the non-cheese charcuterie board. The board was accompanied by a warm crusty loaf of thickly sliced bread (GF available) that I used to make the most delicious little prosciutto sandwiches. Another memorable treat was the positively addictive rosemary walnuts. We decided to split dessert and chose a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. The cake was accented by some raspberries that leant a perfect pop of brightness to the rich, Belgian chocolate cake. This was simple food done perfectly and we loved it. So much so that I brought my husband and daughter back later that afternoon for the cheese charcuterie board, sandwiches and drinks. Same great service and delicious, fresh food. We plan to watch the Packers pre- season game there this weekend - rationalizing we will save money by not having to pay for YouTube TV lol. This warm, sophisticated, and charming place is a gem.

The acoustics are terrible. Could definitely use some sound absorbing tiles on the ceiling. It's right next to the amphitheater at River Prairie Park. Parking can be tight when there's a concert. It's also a little spender than your average place in the area. I think it's worth it for the experience and unique cocktails.

My only complaint is that they put the sunny-side-up eggs underneath the biscuits and gravy. I didn't realize it at first, and once I cut into everything, the yolk started running all through the gravy. Some people might like that, but I'd rather have the eggs served on the side so everything stays separate. Other than that, the food was solid, the atmosphere was great, and I still cleaned the plate. I'd definitely come back--next time I'll just be more specific about how I want my eggs served.
