We brought a small bag of McDonald's in with us and after we'd been seated the manager stormed up to our table saying "we're a restaurant. You can't have outside food. You need to leave." In shock but understanding we said "we understand but our son only eats McNuggets and we're going to order." She angrily says "you need to leave. Go eat in your car". All 4 adults stood there dumbfounded and said "I'm sorry?" And again she barks "I'm not asking. I'm telling. You have to leave". A small, very small restaurant near the Fireworks. Later, for business reasons, I returned to Baldwin year after year. Phoenix has grown from that small place into a very prominent restaurant, now located north of I-94, with full-service dining, weddings, business meetings, and much more. After any football game, basketball game, or heck for me, the night of graduation, this is the only bar worth going to in this sleepy town.
