I am also want to be clear that the issue I encountered was NOT with the hairdressers themselves, it was with their coach "Ms. G.". Ms. "G" (she would not tell me her actual name) was completely rude, unprofessional, abrasive, and, most importantly, a horrible teacher. Ms. G. took a very simple job (root touch up and highlights/lowlights) and directed the students in such a non-efficient/effective way. Her instructions were so difficult to understand and she never came back to help the students. In Nanuet the coaches are so helpful to the students (no, they do not "do" the job for them as Ms. G implied). I would up with DYE IN MY HAIR FOR OVER 4 HOURS, BURNED SCALP BECAUSE THE DYE WASNT WASHED OUT CORRECTLY, GREY HIGHLIGHTS, and HAIR LOSS/BREAKAGE. It was not until I paid and glanced at the mirror that I saw this horror. Again, this was not due to the student but rather Ms. G's lack of actual help to the students while she was in the other room on her phone/chit chatting. I understand Capri is a school/they work slower/there is room for error but this was completely unacceptable. Ms. G should be removed from her position. She is lucky that I am not taking this issue to a higher level.

It is ranked number four of the top ten community colleges in New York. The campus is very diversed. There are many different clubs and sports for my daughter to choose from. The grounds are very clean. The dorm rooms are pretty spacious with a mini kitchen in each dorm space, no community bathrooms thank goodness. The cost of attendance is about 16k per year that including the room and board, but not books. This is a wonderful option for parents that have children who do not qualify for TAP or PELL (us). I'm hoping my daughter decided to go to this college. It's a perfect transition from high school to college.
