So to start, I've been going here for years when we have visited MV. And I mean decades when I say years. Their fresh seafood is second to none and employee knowledge is top notch. Thus the 3 stars... This review is about their takeout, which was abysmal at best. Yes, I know the world is short staffed...but when I order a single plate of steamers and it takes 53 minutes, that's just unacceptable. And I'm not alone. I had countless conversations with others tonight who had a similar experience, meanwhile we watched others who ordered after us with seemingly similar small orders jet in, order, and jet out. I politely asked the woman at the pickup window the status of my order at the 40 minute mark - after giving her my order number she asked the kitchen, who gave her some response that I couldn't hear, and she said NOTHING back to me. When 50 minutes hit, I was less than amused and asked again and pointed out the amount of time lapsed. 3 minutes later she plopped my order on the counter and said here you go, in a snide manner. Not even a sorry for the wait. Hard pass for us on take out going forward. read more

HUGE fan of The Net Result. Seafood is very fair for what you order. I had the fried whole clams and my partner had a salmon burger. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. This is the kind of place I would expect and would want to go back to every time I am in the area. Service is great and super helpful. Prices are outrageous for the food that they serve. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing but a salmon bowl and a tuna poke bowl were both filled to the brim with cold, white rice and barely any fish. What a disappointment. read more

Had the Lobster, steamers and clam chouda (Chowder) it was so fresh. I highly recommend this little jewel. They offer such a nice variety. The only reason I didn't take pictures was because I was enjoying all the delicious seafood! Don't miss this place! My Son had a burger, He's not a seafood foodie. He said it was delicious. Got a sautéed lobster roll with hot butter - or was supposed to. The roll definitely had 0 butter on it and no flavor. The bread was great and the amount of meat was great but there was 0 flavor. Really disappointing experience after spending $30. read more

This is a great, quick seafood place less than 1/2 mile from the vineyard haven drop off spot. They have a great menu with fairly good prices. Lobster rolls were less than $20 and I would give them a total 5 star! The clam chowder was good, but kind of thin. I would give that 4 stars. They also have sushi, boiled seafood and much more. Porch seating with a beautiful view, quick serve and very good. Perfect place to stop, even if you are riding your bikes around the island. read more

Finally a place that retains the Vineyard feel, charm, history and name. While the island seems to be replacing its history with foo foo names and finer dining restaurants to cater to the millionaires and billionaires the character and charm remains evident at The Net Result. Picnic tables, umbrellas to shield you from the sun and just people with the same need, good seafood. You can get everything from one of the best bowls of chowder on the island to amazing fresh sushi prepared right in front of you. You can opt for a clean fresh green salad and adorn it with shrimp or tuna and then park your unmasked keister on a picnic table to devour your seafood craving. I brought a bottle of wine with dinner since this town allows you to bring your own if the restaurant does not have a alcohol license. The Net Result does not. Let's face it. When you're on Martha's Vineyard, you're going to get great seafood no matter where you buy it. However, for superior service and convenience, if you're staying in Oak Bluffs, Tisbury or Vineyard Haven, the Net Result is the place to go. Fantastic seafood spot in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard. A seafood market that also serves delicious fresh food throughout the day!! Came in for lunch and were blown away!!! Kept it simple and went with a couple of lobster rolls and a large clam chowder, along with a couple of Gatorade's we paid about $50, which considering the quality of the food, was a STEAL!!!! Lobster meat was seasoned nicely and the chowda' was fabulous!!!! It's mainly outdoor seating but umbrellas and trees create shade during the hot months. Seafood is pricey but this place is a bargain for what you get. It's always hot and fresh. The lobster bisque is always AMAZING. It always needs a pinch of salt but I get it at least twice every time we come to the island, and I buy it cold in the market section to make quick lobster Mac n cheese. It's also the best place to get lobster on the island whether they cook it or you take it home. We had some lobster bisque, which was creamy and flavorful, and a crab cake, which was a breaded/fried experience, but the tartar sauce was bomb! The Net Result is located in a tiny shopping square where the parking lot can turn into parking wars, depending how busy the season is or what time of the day you come. We hit this place just before the lunch rush and I could not contain my excitement. Really, Janice?! it's only a fishmonger store with a few hot foods on the menu! But, I could not be MORE excited to share a Lobster Bake with the fam bam! Some of my aunties weren't hungry and they actually ventured off to check the boutiques in the area, so more food for me! YAY! I got the $19.95 Lobster bake with 1.5 lbs lobster, 3/4 lb clams and mussels which I shared with my sis. I find it really fun and interactive to use my hands and work hard for my food! ;-) We even had razor clams in the bunch and it's always fun to eat that! We came here for lunch on quite the windy day, so we ate in the car and I unfortunately forgot to take pics of the food. You order inside and then they deliver your order to you via take out window. The hubby had a lobster roll, which he said was bigger than it looked, lol. I had fish and chips, and it came with a generous serving. They also have great fish options you can take home and cook which is reasonably priced for the island. I was a little dissappointed by the calamari I ordered today it was not crispy at all but I hope that was a one time thing. The former was fine (they offer standard cold mayo pre-made or made-to-order as well as a roll with cold lobster but topped with hot butter and on a toasted bun -- I went for the third option), though with the latter I felt either didn't have enough by way of clam and potato or I didn't get an even mix from the pot. The chowder itself was not particularly good or bad, and the prices felt okay. Fine for a casual meal on the benches in front of the shop, but not a big deal. read more

The lobster rolls here are filled with fresh lobster meat. If you get the butter lobster roll make sure to ask for a side of butter because it doesn't have any butter on it. Also, if you like lots of lemon juice on your roll you will want to buy your own lemons and slice them. There appears to be a shortage of lemon slices at Net Results. They don't like to give out too many slices. The clam chowder is very good but just know it comes with sand included. Good luck with asking to get it without. read more

We dined here at 3:00 yesterday, call it what you want, late lunch or early dinner, we call it outstanding food for any meal. Lobster roll was prepared just as I love it,warm& generous portion on hot toasted roll with lemon & butter on the side. My mouth waters just thinking about it again! My husband had delicious flavorful fish & chips with a "chowda" as described on our receipt. Thank you for great food & expert friending staff!! Back after a few years away and headed to NR for their Chipotle Shrimp wrap. It is still a s good as it was. However.......no recycling at all here. Sandwiches come in plastic and there is nowhere to recycle the containers. Really???? In 2022 and on a small island with trash issues they don't recycle. So very sad. read more
