The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. I recommend it. Check it out for all your t-shirt and sweatshirt needs!

The clothes are geared towards younger people with a big Junior's girl section. There were cute cover-ups, sun dresses, shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, and other women's clothes. They had some adorable infant clothes too. The men's section was pretty large, with a lot of t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. The t-shirts had some unique designs in them and seemed to be better quality than most of the small touristy shops have in LBI. They were $28. I got a cute and unique embroidered, framed, glass sign that says, "You are my sunshine." So cute! They have a small selection of candy up front near the registers too. The prices can be a little expensive for what you get sometimes, but the name brand labels that are pricier, also seem to be better quality. They also have beginning of the season sales and I got my sign on sale, so was happy about that. The employees were pretty friendly and nice. I'll definitely go back to B&B to shop. There are two stores on the island, this one, and one in Ship Bottom. Other stores are in Lavallette, Ocean City, and Seaside Park. A pet supply shop, freshly made fudge shop, a bookstore, a Christmas themed store, all sorts of beachy themed housewares and jewelry and comfortable hygge style clothing. Since New Jersey the kind of state where you really should make sure you keep a handy collapsible shopping bag in your prayers in case you shop. There were some lovely foldable shopping bags and I bought a bunch of them because not only do I wanna keep them in my prayers but I wanted to gift some of these as well. They were very adorable. They had cat themed and nature themed and I really like the nature themed ones. It was an enjoyable shopping village. Nice to get steps here. And then take a walk over to the beach for some photos. I think…read morethis must be a seasonal store since it is not near the Silver Sun jewelry or the Silver Sun mall. This is a LBI t-shirt shop at it's finest. T-shirts range from $4-$10. Sweatshirts not more than $20. Dirt cheap LBI attire. Because of that, the sizing is definitely off so try items on. I am usually a small to maybe medium and I was just fitting into some of the XLs. They skimp on material and get the shirt to you at a lower cost I guess. Place was packed (it wasn't a good "beach day") and they had one person at the register and one girl just walking around putting items back on racks. Check out time for us was 12 minutes with a line behind us. But we got 2 fleeces and a t-shirt for $24. Other items of interest were beach bags, cute beachy signs for your wall, and bamboo wind chimes (I saw at least two people checking out with those). Clothing for men, women, and kids. Some was decent and others I have to say were butt ugly designs, but for that price, hey, why not? Returns are for exchange or store credit only. They do take credit cards.

I went in this store with my two daughters yesterday (ages 13 and 5). The (presumably) owner (a…read moremiddle aged lady) was very aggressive from the moment we entered but I just assumed it was her sales persona and she proceeded to follow us around as if we have an alternative agenda in her store. My daughters and I went upstairs and took a peek around and realizing the third floor was merely a massive assortment of CROCS went down to the bottom level. At this point the owner was talking to another customer, spotted us and told my oldest daughter to "please give me the doll you took". Um what?!? My oldest daughter didn't even look at dolls in her store let alone take one. The owner soon realized another girl in the store was playing with one of the dolls. For whatever reason it appeared the owner was assuming we entered her store to shop lift. My 13 year old was horribly embarrassed by the owners accusation and i was simply angered by the whole encounter in general. What a terrible way to run your store. Not to mention it was an unorganized disaster. We left without spending a penny and had our "Pretty Woman" moment going on to spend our money in other, far more welcoming stores in Schooners Warf.
