People kept bumping my chair when they walked behind me. Not sure why they could not walk on the other side of our table which didn't have anyone sitting there. It was quite annoying. The service could also be better. Our water glasses were not topped up unless we flagged down our server. I had the halibut burger which sounded amazing in the description. Poached in white wine and served with lime aioli. Unfortunately the fish was on the dry side and I barely discerned any wine at all. The saving grace was the yam fries which I upgraded for 1/2 Caesar salad and 1/2 yam fries at $3 more. Those were good. Very small portion of the Caesar salad though. My travel partner didn't like the fried chicken burger at all. The chicken was hard and dry. The server gave extra chipotle Mayo sauce but it didn't help much. Popeyes chicken burger was way better. Overall this was quite a disappointing meal. Maybe people come here for the beer only.

The restaurant itself was well furnished, kept and generally easy on the eye. It's also placed in a beautiful area offering you a pleasant view of salmon arms wharf, along with the snowy mountains and lakeside. The food looked and tasted fresh, and was very enjoyable. Luckily, they offered a fair selection of vegetarian meals and appetizers for Alyssa. She ended up getting Pita bread with Tadzhik with an entree of a veggie burger. She described the pita bread as very fresh, light, nicely seasoned and having the perfect temperature. She also thought the veggie burger was well done, it had a wonderful bun, and the patty had "real vegetables". But she did mention that it would have been even better if it had a little more flavor. We both received french fries with our meal, they were crisp and well seasoned, very suiting to the meal. I enjoyed my meal immensely. I had gotten a plate of calamari, along with fish and chips (I was really feeling the sea food!) The calamari was tasty and well cooked, and there was plenty of it. Also, I had forgot to mention before that the Tadzhik was very good, both me and Alyssa thought it complimented the dishes very well. The fish and chips (Cod fish) was quite delightful.
